Michael continued to look at the pictures the Shadow Orcs got him. And there, in plain view, were demi-humans looking up at the skies as the light of the sun hit them thanks to the chasm.
"We've tried to get a better view, but they were quite defensive. Even our Shadow Orcs couldn't get in one foot across the threshold without risking getting caught. We figured that we need to wait for your approval before we truly try and break into this place," said Sasuki.

Although the discrimination of demi-humans were outlawed, there were still some traces of them left in society. It couldn't be helped. There would always be opinions that couldn't be changed.
Michael guessed that these demi-humans had once been part of the world, but found that they were not accepted into their place. So, they made their own.
