The Ersatz soldier tripped from his own momentum, shocked by the instant change in speed.
He couldn't move. That deep, growling voice seemed to bring up an instinctual fear into him.
He felt like he was transported into the primeval era. And he was standing right in front of a monstrous beast, just a short distance away from its disastrous maws.
And if he moved even a single bit, the monster would bite down on his chewy carcass and swallow him whole.
This instinctual fear seemed to not just be a mental problem. But a physical one as well. The Artifice in his chest refused to supplement his legs with any Aubility Power. It was shaken and traumatized by that voice.

Jaku, on the other hand, simply shrugged at his own feat. He didn't know how he did that, but he sure as hell was going to take advantage of it.
He pointed at the soldier.
And suddenly, ten Mini Drones manifested into the air. The small cannons on their underside glowed with prismatic power.
