Ever since Lady Farren brought it to their village, every Elf has been entranced by its capabilities. Its power and accuracy could not be beat, even by the bows made by the greatest craftsmen in the Elven Kingdom. They were now treating it as their national weapon, something that should be passed down through different millenia.
The two Elves were so entranced by the compound bow that they completely spaced out for a few seconds.
By the time they regained their stupor, Michael and Katarina were already gone.
So, with their visitors gone, the two Elves immediately scaled up the giant tree with their stringed arrows and arrived at Lady Farren's household.
