"It's true," Guillermo insisted. "Back in the ancient era, there were no distinctions between human, demi-humans, or beastfolks. We were all one species that benefited from an immense power, which you humans know to be as Aubilities, given to us by the gods. There was peace, abundance, and prosperity to all.
However, a great cataclysmic disaster occurred. The whole world was almost broken in half from the magnitude of the destruction.
After that, we lost our power, and slowly, we began to devolve into the current known species we are now. Some turned human and some demi-human, but not Vampires.
There was one human who was a devout follower and believer of our Deity. And on the brink of their death, their intense faith allowed them to seek out the Divine and ask for their help.
