The farmer gave Michael a big hug. In his mind, Michael had already saved them. He was the light that shined down upon them when they had absolutely no hope at all.
Meanwhile, Evie looked towards Michael with a somber look on her face.
After seeing how effective his medicine was, she couldn't help but think about how wrong she had been all this time.
