Michael immediately headed back to their office. And there sitting in his couch was the Princess of the Seven Seas, Serena.
She greeted him with a curtsy before sitting back down on the couch.
"It's been a long time, Michael," she greeted him.
Michael nodded. "Indeed. Sorry that I wasn't able to visit you in New Sparta."
Serena had spent most of her time in the Lake in New Sparta, supporting the Mermen there in times of trouble.
After all, the tragedy in New Sparta hadn't just affected humans. It affected all Beastfolks as well. So, in the days after the incident, Serena immediately came to their aid so that they could recover from the tragedy.
"It's alright. We were both busy with things that we needed to complete," she said to him. "But now, my workload has lifted significantly. Thanks to you."
Michael raised his eyebrows, curious as to what she meant.
Serena chuckled. "The Chasm Bridge. It has allowed our people to finally come in and out of New Sparta as they liked."
