It became evidently clear that the Chasm Bridge was critically important in conducting business here in the Royal Continent.
Those who had allied themselves with Reborn, those who had not impeded their path, were the first ones allowed to use the bridge.
And the result was evident. Their production had boosted up by at least 50% or more! Profits soared, and so did their reputation within the Elite Society.
Of course, many Conglomerate Heirs looked at this and could only click their tongues in disappointment.
"That's why it was so important to conquer the Chasm."
"Reborn got lucky. And now, they're going to reap the rewards."
"I knew we should have fought harder to obtain that Chasm!"
They didn't say those words out loud. After all, they were still hoping to take advantage of the bridge so that they could also increase their profits.
"With Reborn having sole possession of the bridge, they could easily enact a heavy tax for those who want to travel through it."
