Flint hovers above the ground as he glares at Thorn, Thorn grins and gives him the 'come on' wave. Flint taps his feet off the ground vanishing from sight like a blur, Thorn raises his hand up. *CLANG* Flint swung his sword down and Thorn blocked it, Thorn twists and kicks Flint's stomach. *CRACK* Flint is blown away.
Thorn's eyes open wide as his thoughts, "I didn't kill him, right? I held back a lot." Flint smashes into a tree, he slowly gets up as his HP recovers. Thorn grins, "The Master really made a splendid bloodline, sadly it can't be compared to hers." Thorn makes a blood barrier as a beam of light hits it, "A fake bloodline is this powerful? No wonder Master could never beat the Messengers of Light." The blood barrier turns light and disintegrates.
Flint taps his feet on the ground and appears before Thorn, Thorn makes a sword and fights back. *CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG* Flint swings his sword right next to Thorn's neck as he moves back a bit and dodges. Thorn points his hands as orbs appear and fires at Flint, Flint flies right through it as none of the orbs hit him. Thorn grins, he flies forward and grabs Flint by the face and throws him to the ground.
"High HP regeneration, high EP regeneration," Thorn floats above Flint speaking, "10 times SP, burn area effect, flash step, confusion, fear, dimensional shifting, float. All these would put you on par with a god at least, but none of these tricks will work on me." Thorn stretches his hand as the earth makes a box around Flint, it covers him making a giant coffin. "Since you can't die in this state, I can let loose a little. BLOOD FLARE." Thorn grips his hand.
*BOOOOOM* Flint's blood explode in him as the coffin's inside ignites and explodes. Thorn has a bit of a worried look, "Oh good, he's still alive." A sword comes out through the smoke towards Thorn, Thorn grins. "I won't give you the pleasure." Thorn vanishes from the and appears on the ground.
Flint appears holding the sword swinging at the place Thorn was, Flint feels a sensation coming from below him. He looks down and drops evading the energy orbs coming towards him. Flint raises his sword as EP bursts from it making a giant sword, he vanishes and appears behind Thorn and swings down. Thorn turns and catches Flint's sword with his fingers, Thorn grins and blows air from his lips.
*WHOOOSH* Flint is thrown far away over a mountain and he crashes into it *BOOOOM* Thorn comes over holding Flint's sword, "Have you gain consciousness? I really wish you don't so soon." A huge chunk of rock flies towards Thorn, Thorn vanishes to the other side of the mountain. "I won't give you the pleasure of hitting me with a trick, you have to do better than that."
Behind the chunk of rock is Flint clinging to it, Flint stretches his hand and clap *CLAP* A shockwave blasts towards Thorn, Thorn vanishes and appears behind Flint. Thorn speaks into Flint's ear, "You. Are. Too. Slow." He uses a finger and pushes Flint down to the ground and he crashes into the ground.
Flint tries to get up despite having broken bones. Thorn smiles, "This'll be fun if not for the glares I'm getting. Oh well." Thorn releases his aura as a Ruler, Flint's vision dims as the only person he can see is Thorn and the enormous pressure that is constantly shattering his bones. Flint lies on the ground emotionless, almost lifeless.
Thorn lands beside Flint and picks him up as he's unconscious and takes him to the training field. He lands on the field and drops him, he starts walking to a tree and sits beside it.
Flint jolts up breathing heavily, he loos around. "Huh? What happened?"
"You're finally awake." Flint turns to see Thorn speaking to him. "Good, the bloodline is still active." Thorn points at Flint.
Flint looks at his body and notices nothing new, he feels weightless though. He gets up to his feet, "I feel no different."
Thorn shrugs, "It's a bloodline, you're not suppose to feel anything. But this." He tosses Flint's broadsword back at him.
Time seems to slow down for Flint, he walks though like a blur and catches his sword then sheaths it. Then time moves normal. "This…..i don't know what to say."
Thorn has a twig in his mouth, "Just say thanks for getting the mentality about bloodline being a skill out of my head."
Flint smiles and bows, "Thank you."
Thorn smiles back, "You should deactivate the bloodline, you don't want everyone to see you as a freak, right?"
Flint's eyes turns normal as the lightening stops crackling, "Though I'm still not happy about what you said about Teacher."
Thorn waves his hand, "Come get me when you're strong enough."
Flint grins, "You bet I will." He makes a fist. Thorn nods. Flint looks at the sky, "Thorn, you knew about my bloodline right. Do you know what a Messenger of Light is?"
Thorn shrugs, "Nope." Flint looks down and Thorn continues, "Though I have read about them."
Flint looks at him, "What did you read?"
Thorn breathes in and out, "Basically immortals. A bunch of people death has no grip on. They're also powerful, maybe too powerful, no Calamity has defeated one."
Flint is in awe, "They're that powerful?!"
Thorn nods, "Yeah, have you heard of The Fallen?"
Flint touches his chin, "I think so, I remember the beautiful transparent girl talking about some called the Fallen."
Thorn looks at Flint, "He HAS seen the Master." Thorn closes his eyes and speaks, "The Fallen is a corrupted Messenger of Light."
Flint is shocked, "What?! H…H..How?"
Thorn shrugs, "He just is."
Flint holds his head, "The girl did say to not fight it no matter what happens. She said they're going to invade earth, I thought it was all a dream."
Thorn chuckles, "Calm down."
"How can I calm down?! Someone like this is coming to earth! My family, my friends, teacher."
Thorn laughs, Flint is confused. Flint is about to speak but Thorn speaks, "I said no Calamity has defeated a Messenger of Light because they're allies. It's not the same for The Fallen." Flint eyes open wide as Thorn continues, "It's as you thought, we've already defeated a Fallen One."
Flint calms, "You've defeated one? That means it's possible for me to also de- "
"Forget about it." Thorn interrupts, "It was a battle that shook the very foundations of the universe, even going on to the realm of monsters…..Damn, the shockwaves scared me. Baura wet the bed when she felt the clash from the battle, uncle had nightmares for weeks even after the battle."
Flint is taken aback, "It was that serious?!"
Thorn nods, "Yeah."
"Does Teacher know of this?" Flint asks.
Thorn nods, "Yeah, she was with her siblings keeping the invaders away from the Master's fight. Since she didn't tell you it simply means it's of no use to you. This is basically history."
Flint raises a brow, "History? This same monster is coming here."
Thorn raises a finger, "That's what you're wrong, the monster is already here." Flint is taken aback and Thorn continues, "But they're too cautious since one of them was defeated. The Master was the only capable of standing toe-to-toe with one but even she received help from the Messengers of Light."
Flint looks down, "Are these Messengers of Light going to help us?"
Thorn laughs, "The Messengers of Light would love to kill all the Fallen! But their physique prevents them from moving in the universe at will, all we had to do was fulfill a condition and the Messengers of Light could join for some butt kicking."
Flint looks at Thorn, "All that you're saying, it feels illogical and impossible."
Thorn smirks, "Of course it is, it happened in my universe." *DUHHHH* Thorn's eyes open wide as he moves forward sitting with his hand on the ground. An immense pressure fell on making him sweat rivers as he breathes heavily shaking.
Flint notices and gets close to him, "Thorn? Thorn! Are you alright?!"
Thorn looks at the ground as the pressure falls on him, his thoughts. "Tch…This pressure….This is not Princess Twenny's….." Thorn raises his head looking behind him towards Ergos Xenia, his vision zooms in till he sees a grim reaper. Thorn smiles wryly as his thoughts, "It's Prince Sers. Heh, you kids should watch who you glare at, you might kill someone with your death glare."
Thorn rubs the back of his head speaking to Flint as he laughs wryly, "Hehehe, sorry about that. I just remembered something that happened. Alright, that's enough for today."
Flint is surprised, "Huh?"
Thorn gets up, "You've made great progress, now you can use your bloodline anytime you want even if it's fake." Thorn starts walking to his cave.
"Wait!" Flint tries to stop him.
Thorn glances back at Flint, "Don't have something to take care of, that annoying sister of yours is bound to miss you."
Flint stops, Thorn walks to his cave.
