NOTICE: PERSPECTIVE SWITCH CANCELLED
Flint is running towards the boss as it rises to its feet, he's in a similar armor with his face exposed. "Alright guys, we've got access to the combat mode of the armor so let's give it a beating! Aella, stay with Chuck and heal." His face closes as he's like a sci-fi soldier.
The boss monster aims its lance at Flint as lasers fire, he turns to his right dodging them. The generals in the air also target Flint and Aku. Flint slides to a stop, "Aku! Take care of the generals! I'll keep the boss occupied!"
Aku nods, she starts running towards the generals in the air. "Activate AERIAL MANEUVER" Boosters appear behind her back, "And JUMP!" she jumps with the support of the boost but she doesn't make it, "Then OVERCLOCK!" the armor heats up as the boosters increase pushing her to reach a general. She lands on the general and starts to hack it down, Flint also keeps the boss occupied though not in a good way.
*BOOOM* Flint is kicked again, he lands 50 meters from the boss. Flint gets up on his feet as the armor heals him. "Tch, why does it seem like the boss is starting to take things seriously." He starts charging at the boss evading the lasers fired at him.
Chuck uses heal on Aella healing her in a few seconds, he looks at his arms admiring the armor. "I didn't know this thing was capable of using skills. Are you okay, Aella?" he looks at Aella who is back at 100% HP.
Aella grins, "Let's do this." Chuck nods then charges at the boss. Aella notices one of the generals landing, she charges at it to destroy it since she knows how they fight.
Flint jumps and swings his sword at the boss *CLANG* the boss blocks as Flint passes over the boss. Flint opens his mouth *BOOOM* a shockwave leaves his mouth sending him back a few meters, he escapes the giant lance aiming for his head.
Chuck arrives and slams his shield into the boss, Flint runs and swings his sword at the boss. The boss blocks and kicks Chuck's shield. Chuck raises his hand, runes appear then a fire spear fires at the boss but it bends back dodging. "Hey Flint, I get the feeling we can't win this! Supernova or any ideas?!" he blocks more attacks, the boss jumps over him and thrusts the lance at his head. Flint uses his shockwave to push Chuck away.
Flint turns to the boss, "It doesn't show any sign of weakening! Maybe that might be our only cha- " The boss staggers and falls on a knee. "What?"
Aku is freefalling, she boosts towards the next general. "FLINT! THE GENERALS ARE THE WEAKSPOTS!" her armor starts releasing steam, the armor activates a barrier protecting her from lasers.
Flint looks at Aku then at the boss, "Chuck! Let's do this!" Chuck grins. They both say together, "OVERCLOCK!" their armor heats up, Flint feels adrenalin rush through him and the armor. They attack the defenseless boss as its white armor slowly turns red.
After 5 seconds the boss stands to its feet, it swings its lance around. Chuck blocks with Flint taking cover behind him. *BANG BANG BAANG* Flint jumps, "ENERGY SWORD SLASH!" a slash leaves his sword, the boss takes the hit but no damage. "Looks like it only takes damage when we destroy a general."
*BOOOOM* a general blows up and Aella is falling from the sky. "KYAAAAAHHH!" looks like she got on the general as it took to the skies. *BOOOOOOM* a second general is destroyed and Aku flies out of the smoke trying to catch Aella. "AELLA!" Aku flies towards her and grabs Aella hand a few meters from the ground.
The boss staggers again, Flint readies himself. "12 HEAVENLY KING SL-"
Chuck yells, "Flint! There isn't time to say names out loud!" Flint pouts and makes 12 slashes at the boss turning it bright red. Chuck gives the boss an upper cut *BOOOOOOOM* a great shockwave blows Flint away from being closes.
Flint turns to Chuck, "WHAT KIND OF SKILL IS THAT?!"
Chuck grins, "A shield skill dealing 1000 times the damage." He looks at the boss still kneeling, "This thing's not dead yet?!" he's shocked, he jumps back and Flint passes over his head. EP burst from Flint's sword making a giant sword he swings down *CLANG*
The boss having a grey color catches Flint's sword horrifying him, the boss pulls Flint's sword then grabs Flint smashing him into the ground *BOOOOOM* his armor falls apart exposing Flint covered in blood. His armor cools down and turns invisible again, Flint lays there unconscious.
Chuck is shocked, he runs to Flint and raises his shield slamming into the boss. The boss slides back and grabs Chuck's shield, Chuck still pushes on. "GET AWAY FROM MY FRIEND!" A red aura bursts from him as his armor moves around with a lot of sounds. Chuck lifts the boss off its feet even shocking it then he jumps and slams it into the ground *BOOOOOM*
Chuck looks up to see the boss unfazed, "Tch, SHIELD BARGE!" a focused shockwave blasts from the shield as Chuck is sent flying, he lands facing the boss as it rises to its feet. Chuck sees a countdown on the helmet then looks at the boss, "Damn it. We don't have enough time for its second phase." He grits his teeth.
*BOOOOOM* the boss staggers again, Chuck holds his shield. He runs and swings it at the boss, "One more time! With everything I've got! COMPLETE GIANT'S MIGHT!" his shield hits the boss dealing 1000 times the damage *BAAANNNNGG*
The boss is sent flying turning completely black, the boss starts dissipating into dust as 10 orbs fall with the boss gone. Chuck loses consciousness when he sees the boss becoming dust.
Aku and Aella lands, they rush to the boys and start to heal them. After they're done, Aku gathers the orb. She takes 2 gives 2 each to the boys and Aella takes 4, that's how they divide the crystal orbs to raise Aella's level.
Aku is still in heavy armor sitting beside Aella as they wait for the boys to wake up. Aku looks up, "Though this place isn't all fire, the boss was pretty strong."
Aella sighs, "Yeah, I thought this would be easier compared to the fire place." Aella turns to Aku, so how long are you going wear that armor?"
Aku glances at the countdown on her screen in the helmet, "There sees to be some figures here that keeps changing. I think they are numbers, I guess I'll turn back to normal after it stops moving."
Aella lies on her back, "How did you guys get such armors?"
Aku chuckles, "Flint gave it to us I think during the monster tide in Frishia. Twenny said it's an artefact that grants boosts. Apparently, it also grants enormous power in the face danger."
Aella looks down, "So you guys were in danger. When the boss blocked my view and I couldn't see you guys, I was really worried." She starts to sob.
Aku tilts her head and smiles in the armor, she raises a hand to Aella's cheek and the countdown reaches 0 in universe 1 language. Aku's vision slowly dims, Aella sees Aku slowly going down. "Aku? Aku!" Aku faints.
