Flint grits his teeth, "Second Phase? BRACE YOURSELVES!" *BOOOOOM* the boss bursts into flames as red poison spreads across the entire floor. The quartet feels intense heat with the room dyed red, Chuck coughs up blood. Flint readies his sword, "*COUGH COUGH* We can't wait to learn its pattern, we've got to kill it now or we'll die."
The boss monster lowers itself then swings its pincer creating a sand tornado before it moving towards the quartet. Chuck readies his shield then glows blue, he gets ready to charge at it.
Aku grabs Chuck's collar and pulls him away, "DODGE YOU IDIOT!" *BOOOOOOM* The tornado hits but they evaded it though but with damages. *RROOOAAARRR* the boss monster thrusts its pincer into the ground, *BZZZZ BZZZZZ BZZZZZZ* Lightening crackles across the entire floor.
The quartet try to dodge it though some are hit by it. Chuck is hit and paralyzed unable to move, he glows blue as an EP giant covers him. The lightening stops with the dust clearing, the boss raises its hand then it jumps at Flint to punch him.
"Tch." Flint looks around, he has no time to evade and exit the blast radius. He readies his sword and swings just before the punch reaches him. "COUNTER!" he sword hits the boss monster but rather than staggering the boss Flint is blown away. Chuck leaps and grabs Flint's hand stopping him from falling over.
The boss starts walking towards them, Aella is behind the boss. She readies and points at the tail, "Rapier Flury!" Her rapier moves so fast that multiple attacks are made at the tail, *CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG*
The boss looks back and uses its tail to sweep behind it. Aella bends backwards so much that her back touches the floor, *WHOOOOM* the tail passes over her. The boss raises its tail up, Aella quickly gets up and jumps away *BOOOOOM*
Aku runs along the boss' body and jumps reaching the eye of the boss, " MIRAGE. SWORD TECHNIQUES > GHOST SLASHES." Thin images appear behind Aku, she swings her sword as a slash leaves it towards the boss' eye. The images behind Aku do same making 30 slashes in total towards the eye, "It can still see?!"
The boss monster swings its pincers at Aku, Aku readies to block the attack one way or another. "I don't have EP to use POSITION SHIFT." Chuck runs and throws his shield towards the pincer, it reaches the pincer as the shield glows blue. *BOOOOOM* Aku lands safely as a shockwave hits the pincer.
Flint checks his party's status, they all look pretty beat up.

Flint opens his hand and a pill appears inside, "Everyone take the pills!" He swallows the pills, he glows in a rainbow light recovering his HP, EP, SP and even SoP. The pills are that good. Flint glares at the boss, "That things on its final leg, lets end this."

Flint charges at the boss, "Sis! Diversion!" Aku runs to the boss' leg then starts to attack it multiple times, the boss focuses on her. "Chuck! The boss can recover energy and stamina, trying using your shield techniques to siphon some of it and block and attacks that might reach Sis!" Chuck nods, he runs before the boss with his shield ready.
Blue and light-yellow light leaves the boss entering Chuck slowly, he makes another energy giant and tries to attack and block. Flint readies his sword on his back, "Aella! Get behind it! I'll make it stumble backwards so finish it off!" Aella grits her teeth and makes a sword stance without moving. "Don't worry about being hit, Sis and Chuck will divert its attention from you!" Flint tells Aella as she nods.
Time seems to slows down, Flint looks at the boss with thoughts in mind. "INFORMATION MAGIC > INTUITION, PRECOGNITION." He uses the skill 4 times until he sees a suitable prediction. "That's good enough." Time moves normal with Flint glowing blue and becoming a blur, he runs faster to the boss. "CHUCK!" Chuck glances behind him, he raises his shield above his head and bends down a little.
Flint jumps on the shield and Chuck pushes Flint up with a shockwave, Flint rises up with his sword ready. "SWORD TECHNIQUES > ENERGY SWORD RAY!" EP bursts from his sword making a giant sword, he swings it up hitting the boss' jaw making it tilt back. Flint twists mid-air, "I'M NOT DONE YET!" he swings his massive sword down striking the chest of the boss making it fall backwards.
Aella is ready behind the boss, her body glows blue. She spreads her legs then holds the rapier with both hands, she points it up. "CONCENTRATED RAPIER FLURY!" she thrusts her rapier upwards as a giant rapier tip is made. *SHIIING CRAACK* The boss' head has a giant hole in it as it falls turning into 4 energy orbs. The orbs shoot at the quartet and they have all their status restored.
The stare blankly at the empty platform, then they all fall down in exhaustion. Chuck raises a hand up, "Finally! We beat it!" he relaxes on the sand. Aella's body twitches as she lies on the sand, that final attack does take a toll on her. A screen appears before all of them.

A vial appears before each of them containing the Lineage reward, it opens and starts to spill so they all open their mouth and just drink it. Aella sits up, "What is this?!" She feels power surge in her.
Chuck sits up, "Haaa, this one taste better. Don't worry Aella, it's some kind boost with some super skills." He makes a thumbs up at Aella, Aella nods and calms down.
Flint gets to his feet, "Alright guys, we better get moving." Chuck is surprised, he's about to speak but detects the monsters reappearing on the floor. A door post appears before them, the center glows white waiting for them.
Aku sighs, "Guess we've got no time to rest." They get up and walk into the door, the door vanishes behind them as if they were never here. The boss monster appears on the floor again but rather than waiting and staring at the entrance, it starts to wander on the last sand platform almost as if brainless.
