The carriage drives out of a forest revealing the village ahead, it has a wooden palisade with a tower. The tower has archers hanging out as 1 keeps a lookout, the archer notices the carriage approaching then notifies everyone.
"Quick a noble's carriage is coming!" The archer descends the tower and rushes to the village chief's house. This causes an uproar as the people scatter around the village with worry on why a noble is personally coming here.
The carriage window opens as a Chuck's head pops out, "Umm guys. We've only been gone for a few weeks, so why is there a wooden wall?"
The window on the other side opens as Aku's head is next, "It is odd. I hope everything is alright."
The carriage pulls into the village riding to the center as people watch the sleek super expensive carriage driven by a ghost. Luckily someone notified them about the smart horses.
Red threads gather around a tree out of sight, a little girl materializes from the threads with a bright smile. It's Licia, she runs to the crowd pushing her way to the center. The carriage stops as the people stare at the door on their knees except Licia.
The door opens as the first to take a step out is Chuck, he turns his head as the wind blows his hair. He gives his signature smile, "Hello everyone."
Silence…..Everyone stares at him with a dead face, a voice comes from the crowd. "So this annoying face is back? What a pain."
Chuck's face turns red, "My face isn't annoying it's gorgeous. Also it's me, the most handsome gu- "*KICK* Chuck falls down from the carriage with his face on the floor. He gets up and looks back at the carriage, "WHAT'S THE BIG IDEA!"
Flint steps out, "Oops, an annoying butt was blocking the way." Chuck grits his teeth, he gets up dusting himself and gives his smile back.
Aku steps out looking all over the place, "LICIA!!" Flint flinches. "I brought the biggest gift back." Aku looks at Flint through the corner of her eye. Licia rushes to them and gives Aku and Flint a hug.
Patricia finally arrives at the scene, "AKU! FLINT! MY BABIES ARE BACK!" She runs and gives them a tight squeeze, Licia finds it a bit hard to breathe.
A man scratches his head then asks, "Where's the noble? This is a noble carriage after all."
Aella finally shows herself, she takes a step out in her expensive clothes. The people immediately bit the dust as they bow low, her clothes said a lot. Aella looks around confused by this reaction, she walks beside Chuck and whispers. "Chuck, what is going on?"
Chuck gives a wry smile, "They're welcoming the noble, which is you, to the village."
Aella eyes open wide then she turns to the people with a classy bow, "Thank you all for having me. Please rise."
The people slowly rise to their feet as the old village chief steps forward. "My lady, I'm the chief of this village. Please, allow me to accompany you to our guest house."
Aella looks at the frail old man who has the support of a young boy before he could even walk, she feels bad for him pushing himself for her. "Don't worry, you go and rest." She taps the old man's shoulder as his eyes open wide.
His mouth moves but he has no words to say, he bows his head as tears streams down his face. "Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you." Aella smiles as the old man turns to leave.
Flint looks into the carriage, "Aeife? Aren't you coming?"
"I…I…I'm coming." Aeife slowly walks out as the sun shines on her, everybody sees her. There's a moment of silence.
A man looks around, "If we're done here, I guess I'm going back home." He turns to leave shocking Aeife. "Huh?! N…No one is against me being here?"
A woman carrying a baby turns to her while shaking her baby to calm it, "No love. Why would we be against you?"
Aeife looks at the woman in shock, "Because I'm an elf."
A small boy pulls on his mother's clothe, "Mummy, what's an elf?"
The mother rubs her chin, "Ummm, an elf is a person with long ears."
The boy is confused, "How did their ears get long?"
The mother is confused, "I think their mothers must have pulled on their ears when they were kids." The boy s frightened and holds his ears, the people laugh as Aeife is still amazed.
Flint walks up to her, "Don't be surprised, a lot of people here don't care about who you were or what you are. As long as you can live here in peace." Aeife nods her head.
Licia walks up to her, she squints her eyes looking at Aeife. "Big sister? Don't be afraid, your home is over that mountain." Licia points to the west.
Flint looks at Li, "How do you know that?"
Licia smiles, "I dreamt of it. I also saw it like I was travelling there."
An old man walks over, the hunter. "Oh yeah, little Li is like an Oracle. She sees stuff we don't see and it always happens."
Aku rubs Licia's hair, "That's a nice talent Li. But before that, I want to show you, our gifts." Aku winks at Flint as he grunts.
Flint grunts as he drags himself to the village square, he stretches his hand as a rift opens above him. Slowly the dragon carcass falls making a loud *THUD*, this attracts the entire village as the swarm the place staring and whispering amongst themselves. Flint walks to the next side as another rifts opens, *BANG BANG CLANK THUD THUD* A lot of things fall out, from weapons, clothes to the piles and piles of gold coins.
The whole village is amazed at this sight, Aku climbs up the gold pile. "This is all for my cute little sis and the village. She gets first pick of everything."
Licia stares at the gold piles with bright eyes, "Waaoow. This is amazing, I never thought I'd see something like this in my life." She stares at the piles of gold before her eyes.
Flint stands before the dragon with a grin, "This mighty beast was slain by yours truly. This mighty beast attacked us our way back from the capital, me and my trusty friend stood face to face with the mighty beast. My sister sneaks around it and blinds it as ...." He continues his story telling as Aku somehow feels defeated.
