Daniel, who'd been listening quietly nearby, suddenly smiled. "It is useful. But only if you know what you're doing."
Anna's expression turned serious again. "Don't rush into it blindly. The Battle Space might not kill you, but it can expose you. If you show too much of your strength there, people outside will start paying attention."
Max understood exactly what she meant. The Battle Space protected life, but it didn't protect secrets. Every technique he used, every power he revealed, every victory he earned could turn into information other people would buy, sell, and study.
In a place like the Godslayer's Pilgrimage, showing strength carelessly could get just as dangerous as showing weakness.
