The next instant, Max thrust his dragon claws forward.

His claws pierced through Raghor's chest and came out through his back.
The battlefield fell silent. The devil's eyes bulged. The law manifestation behind him shattered before it could fully take shape. The devil furnace collapsed into black sparks, the crimson chains dissolved into smoke, and the dark flames around his body died out like candles caught in a storm.
Raghor stared at Max in disbelief, as if he still couldn't understand how the battle had ended before it had really begun.
Max pulled his claws out. Raghor's body fell from the air and crashed onto the battlefield.
The blue void ring returned to Max's side, rotating silently beside his shoulder.
The massive devil didn't move again. He was dead.. A devil at the 5th level of the Law Manifestation Realm had been killed in a single exchange.
