The wait for the Devil Race didn't last long.
Only a few minutes had passed since the major forces of the Divine Realm gathered inside the grand council domain of the Primordial Race, yet the atmosphere already felt heavy enough to crush weaker cultivators.
The four Primarchs stood at the center of the meeting ground, surrounded by the leaders of the strongest first-rate forces, the Four Sacred Clans, and the newly awakened Primordial geniuses. No one spoke casually.
Even those who hated waiting understood that this meeting would decide whether the Divine Realm gained time to prepare or took another step toward a universe-shaking war.
Then the sky changed.
The golden clouds above the council domain slowly parted. A dark crack appeared between them. Black mist poured out of that crack, and the pure primordial light in the air dimmed, as if a stain had spread across the heavens.
