Ervin raised his spear.
"Second Depth Spear."
The black sea climbed onto the spear like a world sinking into one point.
"Sunken World."
The spear thrust forward.
Revona's eyes flashed.
"Void Origin Realm, Return To Nothing."
A condensed point of emptiness formed before her palm.
Sunken World crashed into Return To Nothing, and the stage vanished under the collision. The black sea tried to sink the point of nothingness into the Second Depth, while Return To Nothing tried to erase the world carried by the spear.
For several breaths, neither side moved. The entire arena seemed locked between two forms of denial. One returned everything to depth. The other returned everything to nothing.
Ervin's arms trembled, and Revona's face turned paler. Both were being pushed. The Gate of the Second Depth groaned behind Ervin, and the Void Origin Realm flickered behind Revona.
