Max nodded, and his expression became a little colder as the name of his next target appeared in his mind. "I still have to take care of Munro. After that, I will be heading somewhere else."
Nick understood immediately.
Munro.
The moment that name appeared, Nick's expression also turned serious. He had not forgotten the reason Max had entered this place, nor had he forgotten that Max still had enemies waiting outside the Combat Hall.
The trial had given Max an absurd number of Killing Points, but to Max, this was clearly not the end. It was only one stop along the way. There were still matters he had to settle, and knowing Max's personality, if he said he was going to take care of Munro, then Munro's fate was already almost decided.
Max placed one hand on Nick's shoulder and looked at him with a faint smile.
"Take care of yourself," Max said. "Do not get dragged into unnecessary fights, and if someone troublesome comes looking for you, avoid them if you can."
