"Damn…" Max muttered in shock. He had not expected the demon king's body to possess such terrifying durability. But there was no time to dwell on it.
The third demon king attacked immediately. A rain of black glowing arrows materialized in the air and shot toward Max in rapid succession. They flew so fast that even time seemed unable to catch them. Max swung his sword again and again, striking each arrow with swift, clean motions. The arrows shattered into dark mist upon contact with his blade.
"Die!" a deeper voice followed an instant later.
The fourth demon king appeared directly before Max. His fists blurred into a storm of motion. In the span of a second, he delivered over a hundred punches, each one packed with killing power. The barrage of strikes came from every angle, creating the illusion of multiple fists converging upon Max simultaneously.
