Nick hesitated for a moment before speaking, his tone cautious. "We do know where the other coven is holed up. They've taken over an abandoned steel mill on the outskirts of town. It's remote, far from prying eyes, and easy to defend."

James glanced at Dean, Sam, and Ash, all of whom exchanged wary looks. Dean crossed his arms, his skepticism palpable. "How many are we talking about?"

Nick's expression darkened. "At least fourteen, maybe more. Their numbers have been growing. They're recruiting, and they don't care who they turn—drifters, runaways, anyone they can sink their teeth into."

Dean muttered a curse under his breath. "Fourteen bloodsuckers. Fantastic."

Sam's brow furrowed. "And you haven't tried to deal with them yourselves?"

Nick shook his head. "We're a small group, and most of us aren't fighters. We're focused on survival, not picking battles we can't win. If we tried to take them on, we'd be slaughtered."

Sarah stepped forward, her voice quiet but steady. "We've been doing what we can—staying out of their way, warning people who get too close. But it's not enough. We need help."

Dean let out a derisive laugh. "Help from us, huh? You sure you're not just leading us into a trap?"

Nick's eyes flashed with anger. "I get it. You don't trust us. But if we wanted to hurt you, we wouldn't have come out here unarmed, would we?"

James stepped between them, raising his hands. "Enough. We don't have time for this. If Nick and Sarah say they want to help, then we'll take them at their word."

Dean scowled but didn't argue, his grip tightening on his machete. Sam, ever the voice of reason, turned to Nick. "You said their base is a steel mill. What can you tell us about the layout? Any entrances or weak points we can use?"

Nick nodded. "The main entrance is heavily guarded. They usually have at least three or four vampires stationed there. But there's a side entrance near the loading docks. It's less secure, but it's a tight space—easy to get cornered if things go south."

Ash, who had been quiet until now, spoke up. "And what about the leader? Every coven's got one, right?"

Nick's expression grew grim. "Their leader's name is Lucien. He's old—centuries old—and strong. He's the one turning most of the new recruits. If we take him out, the rest of the coven might scatter."

Dean huffed. "Might scatter. Great. So, we've got a vampire army and a supercharged leader to deal with. Sounds like a party."

James turned to Sarah. "Have you seen them leave the mill? Any patterns we can use to our advantage?"

Sarah nodded. "Lucien and his inner circle usually stay inside, but the newer recruits go out hunting at night. If we hit them during the day, we might catch them off guard."

Sam frowned thoughtfully. "Alright. That gives us something to work with. But before we go charging in, I have one more question."

Nick raised an eyebrow. "What is it?"

Sam's gaze was sharp and focused. "Have you ever heard of a gun called the Colt? It's an old revolver, designed specifically to kill demons, vampires—pretty much anything supernatural."

Nick exchanged a puzzled glance with Sarah before shaking his head. "No, I've never heard of it."

Sarah looked equally confused. "Neither have I. Why? Is it important?"

Dean let out a frustrated sigh. "It's more than important. It's a game-changer. But of course, nobody ever knows where the damn thing is."

James cut in before the conversation could derail further. "Alright, let's stay focused. We have a lead on the coven, and that's more than we had an hour ago. Let's gear up and get moving."

Nick hesitated. "Are you sure about this? You're walking into a death trap."

Dean smirked, though his eyes were cold. "Wouldn't be the first time."

---

The drive to the steel mill was tense, the group crammed into the Impala and two more cars borrowed from Nick's group. Dean drove in grim silence, his hands gripping the wheel tightly. Beside him, James kept glancing at Sarah and Nick in the rearview mirror, his mind racing.

Sam broke the silence, his voice measured. "So, Nick, Sarah… How long have you been part of this group?"

Nick leaned back, his arms crossed. "About fifty years. They were just like e, trying to survive without hurting people. It's not perfect, but it's the best we could do."

Sarah chimed in, her voice soft. "It's not easy, but at least we're not alone anymore."

Dean muttered under his breath, "Misery loves company."

James shot him a warning look. "Dean, knock it off."

Dean rolled his eyes but didn't argue.

Ash, who was riding shotgun in the second car with the other vampires, spoke over the walkie-talkie. "Hey, Sam, you think this Lucien guy's gonna go down easy, or are we looking at a knock-down, drag-out fight?"

Sam picked up the walkie. "If he's as old as Nick says, he'll be tough. But if we can catch him off guard, we might stand a chance."

"Good to know," Ash replied. "I'll make sure my shotgun's loaded with extra salt rounds."

Dean snorted. "Salt rounds won't do much against vampires, Ash."

"Yeah, well, it makes me feel better," Ash retorted.

---

When they reached the steel mill, the group parked a safe distance away and huddled together to go over the plan. Nick crouched down, using a stick to draw a rough map of the building in the dirt. "The side entrance is here," he said, pointing to a spot near the loading docks. "It leads to a storage area. If we're quiet, we can move through there and get the drop on them."

Dean nodded. "And if they spot us?"

"Then we fight," James said simply. "We don't have another option."

Dean still looked uneasy, but he didn't say anything about further.
