Aestrea turned around, sensing her gaze immediately.
He met Vespera's eyes, which were practically throwing daggers at him. He sighed softly, walking over to her with a calm demeanor.
"Just a polite kiss, nothing more. No need to act jealous, when you don't even have a real 'identity' relationship with me," he stated directly, whispering low enough for only her to hear.
Vespera's lips pressed into a thin line for a moment, her possessive nature flaring visibly.
She set the glass down on a nearby table with a little more force than necessary, then stepped closer to him, her body language clearly claiming territory.
"Polite or not, I don't like other women putting their lips on you," she replied in some kind of dangerous purr.
"Especially not the heir to Helix. She was practically undressing you with her eyes the entire conversation."
Aestrea raised an eyebrow.
"She was being polite. You're reading too much into it."
