Her soft lips pressed fully against his.

Her mouth pressed against his, softly at first, then deeper. He tasted sweet… and bitter. That strange bitterness. She could feel it now, slipping onto her tongue.
It was none other than poison.
It buzzed under her skin like pins and needles, but she ignored it.
