Edgar took quite a bit of petting and time till he calmed down. Cass, ominously, felt a shiver run down his spine as he held onto the other man as he met Gideon's gaze. The man was looking at Edgar like he wanted to say something, and Cass, suspicious of the man who had pushed himself until Sir Forsythe had more time on his hands, felt like his time in this position wasn't over.
However, he was not about to take Edgar's moment away from him. He would never do that. Edgar himself felt like he didn't deserve time to himself where he was the center of it, and damn it, Cass was not about to take this moment away from him now.
He would dedicate time to Gideon later. Cass was sure that after some time Edgar would be delighted if the spotlight changed from him to Gideon. That was a surefire way to get out of the shitty way one sometimes felt after crying.
Cass wouldn't know, not really, but he felt that was the case.
