Cass maybe could have sympathy for different men. He could have cared about men who had not been told the full truth, reacted in a poor way and learned from their lesson, but from the look on Ava's brother's face at the very least, he was not sorry.
The father, however? There was room for him to grow. The son could be thrown out with the bathwater.
