Cass had never eaten so well. He had a full meal in his stomach, his healing tonic in his system and all of the hot deets from Byron. He was full.
So that meant he could buckle down and focus on his work.
A lot had piled up, so much so that he lost track of time until Fiona, Edgar and Lucian came knocking at his door. They were waiting for him to be a witness to the signing of the contract. They had expected that someone would let Cass know, but for some reason no one could find a maid in the building.
Cass wasn't too worried about that, but he was worried since that meant that they hadn't seen Sir Sanders and Ser Hune all day. While Cass went with them, he sent Byron to go do a lap, check up on the maid situation and the Sir Sanders and Ser Hune situation. He hoped that everything was okay.
