Harry tried his best to calm down his heart once again after the energy absorption process but his body had decided not to listen to him. This had caused him to lower his back gently onto the ground when annoyance and frustration had pressed their teeth into his flesh. It had made him a little bit worried since he didn't know what the unknown energy was going to do to his body.
He pressed his head against the once dangerous grass with a pinch of hope and excitement in his heart since he had full assurance that these grasses weren't going to go bizarre once again. His blue eyes darted across the sky when his head had finally settled into the sharp but cold embrace of the surrounding plants.
Harry was no historian but he could make it out that time had indeed passed by during his arduous battles. The clouds in the sky weren't as much as there were when he had first ventured into the woods. The huge ball of fire had moved few angles away from its original position and this had made Harry's heart thump a little. He had come to the realization that he had to head back to the cave before dusk since it would be difficult for him to navigate his way in the dark. He wasn't some nocturnal animal after all.
The system noticed the awkwardness and had decided to show him something new. The system appeared with the sound of thunder and purple colorization of lightning which Harry had now come to love and cherish as compared to the latter. Though the yellow theme was cool it almost blinded him each time it appeared without his notice.
[System is calculating user's stats..]
'Oh, the stats, yeah I've been wanting to ask you questions about it but since this dumb system of mine is a jerk, I made up my mind to stop.', Harry spouted out these words with precision and accuracy to hurt the system.
[Displaying loser's stats..]
'Huh, is this how you are going to play this game? Well if I'm a loser and you are my system then what does that makes you, dummy?'

Harry's eyes glowed with excitement when he had noticed what he was looking at but somethings were not just right according to his standards. From what he could recollect, he remembered that he gained a boost of 1 attribute point to all his stats after each successful level up and he had leveled up six times so far. This meant that his stamina, endurance and defense were as awful as ever. 'How can a human live with zero stamina?', he asked rhetorically while giggling softly to his own words. He didn't believe the statistics the system had laid down in front of him.
He knew how the system was and could almost instantly realize there was more to what he was seeing.
[You don't believe me huh. Ask your body, your feeble and malnourished looking body.]
The system blurted out coldly but this time Harry wasn't perturbed by its words since there was no emoji attached to it. He simply shrugged his shoulders in defeat since dragging this situation on was going to allow the savage system to ridicule him and he wasn't ready for such a thing.
[Have you considered distributing the attribute points to your other stats?]
'Nah, I don't know the strength of those orcs so I won't distribute any point. I will do that during the heat of battle, when I realize that I'm lacking in a certain aspect that's when I will do it.'
[What if I decide not to distribute the points? What will you do then?]
Harry quickly smiled at the question and said, 'You love me so much not to do that.'
It took a couple of seconds for the system to reply and this was a testament to the fact that what he had said was true. Harry smiled to his heart's satisfaction after noticing the system's dilemma.
[You decide to leave your fate to love. Wasn't it love which gave you the mark on your neck, the one on the side of your rib and the one on your nose?]
'You do know how to make a man regret his actions…', he simply replied and smiled once again.
[Quit the smiles we are talking about something important here human…]
Tap!
Tap!
Tap!
The system was about to go on with its pointless yapping but the sudden sounds of footstep had jolted Harry's entire nervous system back to its maximum capacity. He quickly grabbed his sword from the ground and climbed a tree with all his might even though he knew he could fall at any point in time.
The sound of leaves brushing against his bare chest as he climbed reverberated throughout the leaves causing the footsteps to come to an abrupt stop.
Harry coiled his arms and legs around a branch of the tree and slammed his face onto it as if trying to pretend that he was asleep.
Tap!
Tap!
After several minutes of nonstop silence the footsteps had come out once again but this time though it sounded as if the person or group of people were trying to stalk their prey. They were feint and almost calculated since they moved a step per each 2 seconds.
This was starting to creep Harry out since he was the one who had his eyes closed at the moment. All of his insides were screaming at him to run but he wasn't able to do so because of his legs and hands. They weren't ready to risk him being captured.
