Chapter 33 - Revelation.

Chapter 33 - Revelation

Lucerion ALMOST couldn't believe it.

'Canon lied to me…'

At its core, Trihexa was a young boy with multiple types of wings and ten horns on his head that resembled a macabre crown.

Not anymore it seems.

But he quickly adapted to the situation.

After all, the multiverse was an infinite place, this DxD might have some minor changes, like this one.

Whatever the fuck Trihexa was, the destiny of the beast was already written in the stars by Lucerion.

"I was under the impression that Trihexa was an immense seven-headed beast?" Lucerion chose his words carefully when asking.

"And she is but at his core…she has a female appearance." Yahweh spoke as if he knew something more.

Lucerion gave him a deadpan look, essentially asking him to spill everything he knew.

"Are you going to kill her?"

"Of course. It's a bloodthirsty beast that wants to destroy all of existence."

Yahweh sighed. Lucerion was an efficient problem-solving machine—some would say *too* efficient.

"I'm not sure, but I have a theory. I think she would be my conceptual sister." Yahweh explained.

Lucerion leaned from the throne in curiosity "It makes sense...if you're pure love and light... she would be pure hate and darkness. There's a reason she's the Beast of the Apocalypse."

"But if she is your sister by virtue of conception...the universe has to be in balance...do you remember her from your conception?"

"No, I don't remember her." Yahweh shook his head. "I met her when I went to investigate the end of the world...I barely managed to seal her away...and you know the rest of the story." He added with a sad smile.

Lucerion nodded then asked "And what does she look like in her humanoid form?"

"Blonde, a face similar to mine but feminine, wears black armor, wields a greatsword...you already know her true form."

'Holy shit.' Lucerion thought about it because he was becoming aware of the implications.

After all, the Beast of the Apocalypse appears in the Bible...it is exclusive of the Abrahamic pantheon.

'Blonde, similar to Yahweh...ah...its fucking happening right?' Lucerion thought about a smile...he already saw it coming.

"Lucerion."

He turned his gaze toward Yahweh.

"Don't underestimate her."

"I won't."

She was going to be the toughest opponent Lucerion had faced since arriving here—literally the final boss of DxD, excluding the Outer Gods—but that was already taken care of when he cut down Rizevim.

If somewhat they come to the DxD…then its fucking over for them. Their universe is their safe heaven after all.

"I don't have much time left...I have one last gift for you." The god of light said to Lucerion who perked in curiosity.

"Will you allow me the throne one last time?" Yahweh said with a hint of humor.

"Sure."

Lucerion rose, while Yahweh slowly sat upon the throne of heaven for the last time.

"Ah... so much time has passed…" Yahweh caressed the armrests. "Oh, Michael... you made quite a few mistakes with the systems." He chuckled.

Lucerion realized it too and he cursed...after all, he was the one who was going to have to fix them.

"And what kind of gift?" Lucerion tilted his head.

"I created it to protect the throne from Lucifer at that time, but I didn't have time to activate it...that's why it remained safely tucked away...It might be useful to you, besides, I wouldn't want to leave it like this—it would be cruel of me."

"Wait…what are you giving me to me Yahweh? please, something that isn't troublesome."

Lucerion spoke cautiously...

Yet he wasn't about to refuse the gift, a protector for this throne wouldn't go amiss—after all, Leo remained constantly on guard upon his stellar throne.

"Ah…one last push for me." Yahweh said as he channeled power through the throne, materializing...that.

"Arhg!" The god clutched his chest from the exertion.

Lucerion placed his hand on his shoulder, the connection was running low and had now shortened—he had about fifteen minutes left.

"Old man be careful." Lucerion sighed. "And…what is this?" Lucerion looked at the unusual "being"

"The last angel I created...I want you to have it."

Lucerion gazed at the closed eye, flanking it were golden wheels that burned with a red and gold fire. The wheels were adorned with twelve wings.

The being was of a more normal size, it was approximately 1.75 meters tall.

Yahweh had given him a biblically accurate angel.

"You know…a sword would have been enough." Lucerion said.

Yahweh chuckled. "Be not afraid…and to think I went to such lengths to bring it."

Lucerion looked at the still-inactive angel with curiosity.

"A little stronger than your golden boy." he concluded, referring to Michael.

"Indeed." Yahweh nodded. "I leave it in your care." Yahweh concluded with a mischievous smile.

'That smile…that goddammed smile.' Lucerion felt like he was in the middle of a joke, but he didn't know for sure.

"Well, I have to go to my children before I fade away and return to the spear…" Yahweh stopped then looked at him. "Lucerion, don't let the river of blood swallow you. That is my last piece of advice for you."

"I understand…and relax after Trihexa. I'm taking a vacation." Lucerion already planned a vacation with Xenovia after all of his slaughter comes to an end.

Lucerion extended his hand with the intention of shaking Yahweh's hand one last time.

Without embarrassment, Yahweh took his hand and gave him a hug.

"...Okay." Lucerion said with a smile as he rolled his eyes.

"Goodbye Lucerion."

"Goodbye Yahweh."

And so, the fallen god walked away from the throne room to spend his final minutes with his children.

Lucerion sat back down and massaged his temples. It affected him, but it had to be that way.

After a few minutes, he decided to activate the last angel of God.

He channels his divine power through the throne. It made the foundations of the throne tremble slightly.

"Wake up." His voice sounded calm.

The single eye slowly opened its eyelids looking at Lucerion, who was sitting on the throne.

"Welcome to life...I was able to catch a glimpse of what Yahweh has 'programmed' for you as your purpose, are you aware that you are the protector of the throne?" Lucerion asked.

The eye moved unnaturally up and down, taking Lucerion somewhat by surprise as the eyeball shifted.

"Alright, I'm going to give you a few minutes to get used to your new state and take in your surroundings."

Lucerion's mind quickly turned to other topics.

He has to extract Indra's shadow, Michael kept the body just as he was told.

They even "repaired" him with magic, after all, his body had been battered in the fight, and his face completely destroyed.

It is time to notify the Hindu pantheon...he will give them the body so they can perform the funeral rites...he will even return the Vajra spear.

He doesn't think Shiva will go to war over this... but if the god of destruction wants war, Lucerion will crush them all.

Lucerion looked at the angel who was watching him, when their gazes met, the sole eye looked away.

Next on the list, talk to the devils nobility...put them in their place. Take Zekram life as an example.

Feeling the gaze of the eye once more, he looked again, when their eyes met, both looked away.

After that, Trihexa... and finally, it will be over.

He pulled a classic Azazel move, expertly delegating all the annoying stuff and heading off on vacation for a month or two—though, of course, if something serious happened, he'd jump back into action.

*jiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii*

Feeling the eye's piercing gaze once more, Lucerion raised his arms in mock exasperation.

"Will you stop that!?" He said looking at the eye who quickly looked the other way, pretending nothing had happened.

It's kind of weird communicating with a winged eye wrapped in fiery wheels.

"Can you change shape?" Lucerion asked the angel—after all, angels and other beings can change their form at will, even he could.

The eye nodded.

"Use your angelic humanoid form, all your siblings use it—it will be easier to talk." Lucerion ordered.

Almost instantly, a light enveloped the eye.

He watched the process with curiosity until…

"Ah."

Long, white hair came into view...a humanoid form appeared, possessing twelve wings of the purest white.

Small waist, wide hips...big ass.

And, of course, big, round breasts.

"...Fucking DxD." Lucerion brought his hands to his face, it had been a long time since the universe had screwed him over with this particular matter.

"Yahweh trolled me…" Now he understood that little smile he had given him.

'Since when was Yahweh was such a joker? The Bible lied to me…' Lucerion thought with humor.

When Lucerion saw the female angels—who were voluptuous—he initially thought it was a coincidence, but then he remembered this was fucking DxD and let it slide...though, after that, he realized something.

Yahweh that sly dog…He knows exactly what he is doing. No wonder Gabriel has those milkers.

Is Yahweh a closet pervert? some will argue every male on earth is a pervert…but still…

*Snap*

With a snap of his fingers, he clothed the angel standing before him—enough angelic nudity for the moment.

He didn't agonize over what to give her, a white dress with a few details and the symbol of the god Yahweh, the cross—not *his* symbol. After all, she was Yahweh's 'daughter.'

"What do I call you? Did he give you a name?"

The female angel shook her head and replied in a languid tone. "...No, he said you were going to give me one." She replied slowly, testing out speech for the first time—perfectly.

'YAHWEH!!!! You take the time to program an explanation of what happened, but you don't take the time to give it a name!?' Lucerion cursed inwardly.

He understood that Yahweh was also an expert at delegating...now he knows where Azazel learned that wonderful skill.

Lucerion began thinking of a name for her...something short, nothing over-the-top.

"From this day forth, your name is Raziel, the angel who protects the throne of God." He stated.

(Image)

The one now called Raziel nodded, beside the throne, she materialized some cushions and threw herself down to rest.

'The lazy laid back type…Yahweh you twat, this is a troublesome last gift.'

Half an hour had already passed while Lucerion contemplated his next move and the possible implications.

Michael asked for permission to enter the throne room, upon receiving the go-ahead, he entered with the Spear of Longinus in his hands.

"He went away?" Lucerion asked.

"Yes," said Michael with a sad expression. His expression quickly changed when she saw the angel lying there next to the throne, resting.

"Lord Lucerion…who is she?"

"Lucerion is fine." He continued "She is the last angel Yahweh created. The guardian of the throne—he activated it before leaving." He explained as Michael jaw dropped a bit.

"Ever since you appeared, it's been a rollercoaster of emotions, Lucerion." Michael said to the god of cosmos, then he approached Raziel.

"Greetings sister, I'm Michael, can I hear your name?" Michael said with interest.

A small miracle happened again today in his perspective, a new angel has joined the ranks—a new sister, the last gift from their father.

"Raziel." She said, yawning.

"She's the youngest of them all but the strongest, haha—there's a reason she's the protector of the throne." Lucerion explained a bit as Michael stopped for a second letting the words sink in.

"...I see." The angel said.

"Alright, we'll do face-to-face introductions later." He waved a bit uninterested. "Michael. Take me to Indra's body."

Michael nodded as they went where Indra's body was resting.

As they walked, Michael stopped...he took out his old spear and offered it to Lucerion.

"And what is this?" The god asked.

"I want you to keep this, Lucerion—a symbol of my respect, my eternal gratitude for what you did for the angels, and my absolute servitude to the new god of the Abrahamic pantheon." Michael said with absolute determination.

"I accept the gift." Lucerion accepted the 'gift' and everything it entailed.

After all, Michael already had another spear to use...

"I accept it...after all, you already have another spear...as I told you before, I can't think of a better wielder than you, Michael."

The angel wore an expression of sadness, but it quickly changed, he would carry the spear—which held a small fragment of God's consciousness—with pride, for as long as his soul could endure.

Indra's body lay in a quiet room, it had been prepared using magic.

The face was no longer a pulp, and the body was in a more than presentable state.

But of course, the god of storms remained dead, there was no doubt about that.

The upper part of his armor lay to one side, his iconic Vajra spear, to the other.

Lucerion placed his hand on Michael's shoulder.

"Notify the Hindu pantheon of Indra's death, tell them what happened, and let them know that we will hand over the body and the spear without any issues."

After all, Lucerion didn't care about Vajra, he coveted magical items, but he had his limits.

Basically, he was doing things right; he gave them the body and the spear.

If the Hindu Pantheon wants war after all this, then there's nothing left to do—Lucerion is going to annihilate them all.

"I need a little privacy now, go now, Michael. After you do that, gather all the angels."

Michael questions nothing and carries out the order, leaving Indra's body alone with Lucerion.

The god of the cosmos slowly walked toward the small altar that held Indra's body...the angels possessed his well known sense of honor, they treated the fallen god's body with respect.

"Arise."

A deathly silence flooded the room as the shadows devoured it.

Indra's body twitched violently as the shadow materialized from his body. Instinctively, 'Indra' bowed before his new master.

"Indra—that is your name now as before—you will serve me for all eternity."

"I see...I remember. I lost to you, Samuel Lancaster...no, Lucerion, God of the Cosmos." The shadow of Indra said.

Lucerion raised an eyebrow in surprise upon seeing this for the first time.

The stronger the being was in life, the more awareness it retains in its shadow form.

"I was right then in my last moment…" Indra said slowly.

"Right about what?" Lucerion said, making conversation with his new shadow.

"That you're the worst of us all." Indra spoke with a sad smile.

The god of the cosmos understood what was being referred to, Indra's soul would serve him for all eternity, with no possibility of rest.

If the other pantheons were to learn of the dark powers Lucerion possesses, there would be two possibilities:

First, they would cause a massive uproar, banding together overnight to assemble a huge army to confront the new god of the Abrahamic pantheon—using the pretext that he is evil and enslaves souls. Even the souls of gods.

They would do everything possible to kill him...but that would be the stupid decision.

After all, death makes Lucerion stronger, for every enemy who falls, they switch to Lucerion's side—not to mention all those he already has and will continue to gain thanks to the powers of Ashborn and Annihilation Maker.

Indeed. A very stupid decision.

The second possibility…They will do absolute nothing out of fear.

The most likely outcome...

But it doesn't matter, Lucerion has no intention of revealing his…'dark' abilities.

He is going to keep this element of surprise in reserve for any crazy situation that might call for it, in the meantime, he will quietly reap the souls of the wicked.

"You're half right." Lucerion said to Indra.

"Back to the shadows, Indra... now." Indra complied with the order without resistance. Returning to the sea of shadow, to one day be summoned by Lucerion to fight for him. There was no other way, that's just how things will be forever—period.

The room returned to normal as Lucerion observed Indra 's lifeless flesh body.

He realized something a while ago: the powers of the Shadow Monarch are not those of a necromancer per se.

In fiction, necromancers usually reanimate the physical body—they bring it back to life, but the soul is gone.

In the case of the Shadow Monarch, he does not use the physical body, instead, he draws out a twisted version of the soul. The classic and usual shadow.

That is why, when the shadows are attacked, they regenerate using the user's mana, if they were bodies of flesh, the necromancer would have to repair the damage using healing magic or fleshcrafting.

Basically, the Shadow Monarch is closer to a soul shaman than a necromancer.

Concluding his thoughts on the matter, Lucerion continued to grow in strength thanks to his ingenuity.

A few days after obtaining Annihilation Maker, he began creating monsters…mana hearts monsters—an idea inspired by the Black Heart from Solo Leveling.

Several hearts linked to his soul, but also to various monsters and shadows. Eventually, he will have infinite mana, infinite mana means infinite spam, and an immortal, tireless army.

Of course, he also has other ideas for supporting monsters for himself and his army.

After all, Annihilation Maker's strong suit is imagination. He will not be a bum like Fushiguro Megumi in this aspect.

He is going to live to his full potential, constantly breaking limits until one day he reaches Tier 0 and becomes the strongest being in the entire multiverse.

…Just wait until he creates monsters that do the creation for him.

After all, Lucerion was also an incremental clicker player in his past life. If you know how clickers work then you know what this mean.

Those motherfuckers can easily have 1000 hours in some obscure random ass clicker.

Lucerion was standing in the plaza of Heaven. He wore a calm expression, but inside his head, it was anything but that.

All the angels in heaven were lined up, introducing themselves to the new god.

Every. Single. Angel.

To his right was Michael with his usual Smile tanking it along Lucerion too.

Hours had already passed...but finally, Lucerion saw a glimmer of hope when only the Seraphs remained.

Uriel introduced themselves again—even though they had already done so previously—because the situation called for it.

"Greetings Lord Lucerion, it is good to finally meet you." Raphael said as he bowed.

"You can stand up." Lucerion offered his hand, turning the gesture into a handshake between the god and the angel.

As a seraph, Raphael lived a busy life, much like his brethren, clearly, all of heaven came to a halt when Yahweh returned momentarily.

This was the first time he met Lucerion in person.

Without wanting to stop the last two, he bowed again and let the next one come.

Gabriel came and bowed too.

Lucerion—losing count of how many times he had done the same thing this day—told her to stand up, extending his hand.

Grabiel with his two hands grabbed his hand in a happy smile. Small tears in the corners of her eyes.

"Lord Lucerion, thank you for everything!" She said as he felt her genuine gratitude.

'Ah…Dont look at me with such honest eyes.' Lucerion sighed mentally.

He couldn't look down either, for obvious reasons.

Yahweh indeed was a sly dog.

The last of the seraphs caught his attention, as Gabriel moved, the final remaining angel passed by—the most peculiar of them all.

"Dōmo! My name is Metatron Lucerion-Sama, It is my greatest pride to serve the new god of the pantheon, gozaru!"

Ah…Metatron, the weeb one.

An amused smile spread across Lucerion's face as he watched the last angel, the smile deepened when he saw Michael's face twitch slightly.

Metatron wore a pristine white ninja suit, strapped to his back were a giant scroll and a katana. Half of his face was covered by a black-and-white ninja mask.

Lucerion remembered the personality of this particular angel. If Rias was a somewhat more toned-down weeb. Metatron, on the other hand, was a weeb who took it to a fifteen on a scale of one to ten.

He understood the bit about the giant scroll on his back, after all, he was the Scribe of Heaven.

As he helped him up and they shook hands, Lucerion calmly asked him...

"Metatron... you were Enoch in the past?" He genuinely didn't know. After all, there are many differences between DxD and the Bible he knows.

Everyone present was surprised by the question, including Metatron, who froze for a second.

Slowly, Metatron removed his mask and answered the King of the Stars. "That was a long time ago, Lord Lucerion." He said this with a smile, speaking naturally—without the Japanese accent he usually puts on or the suffixes he tends to use.

"I see...sorry if I asked something personal, I was interested in another human who ascended to divinity." Lucerion explained.

"Haha its no problem~" Metatron said, switching back to weeb speech.

Lucerion, having received his answer, threw his head back and laughed with him

Author notes:

-Sorry for kind of baiting you, the next chapter is the final fight of the fic. How strange, who would have thought I'd be wrong about predictions, hehe.

I'm going to try to get another chapter out before the Plague Star event starts in Warframe, I want to farm as many Formas as humanly possible so I never need any more.

So, for this chapter, I decided to throw in a small OC—I just liked the idea, plain and simple. No major changes regarding Raziel.

There isn't much to say about this episode, it was a quieter one that lays the groundwork for what's to come.

Not much to say in this author's notes either. I'll save what I have to say for the final author's notes when the fic ends—literally 3k words' worth of stuff i want to say, lol. (with luck, you know how bad im with predictions)

Anyway. See you in the next one bye.
