Once again, Sinyeong was pacing furiously around the tearoom in Baekryeon Lodge, venting his frustration over Hwayeong as if he didn’t already have enough on his plate.
Sinhui, who’d been stuck with him simply for being in the same room, kept nodding along as his older brother unleashed a storm of complaints. But then, looking a little puzzled, he asked cautiously,
“Then... what if she doesn’t actually have feelings for you?”
Sinyeong froze in place.
Slowly, he turned with a dead-serious look.
“What are you talking about? I saw it in her eyes. That look—she was clearly taken with me.”
“But....”
“She was.”

With his eyes flashing in conviction, Sinyeong stared him down until Sinhui, thoroughly intimidated, mumbled in defeat,
