Sniffling quietly, Yueul rubbed at his nose.
Wooheon, sitting a fair distance away, turned to look.
Yueul’s eyes were bright red—he was clearly trying to hold back tears.
“You’re crying?”
Wooheon asked, his voice gentler than before.
“Sniff- It’s touching, isn’t it?”
“Seeing you tear up makes me want to say yes... but honestly, I don’t get it.”
Wooheon stared blankly at the screen.
For the past two months, Wooheon had added a new routine to his schedule.
After work, he’d start with ten minutes of smile practice, then spend the next thirty talking with Yueul.
It was part of the new training regimen.
But now, something else had been added to the list.
Every night at 9 PM, he had to sit through a ‘boring’ talk show.
It was Yueul’s idea—supposedly a way to improve Wooheon’s conversational skills.
“You really do cry easily, Mr. Lee. I don’t get it, though. Isn’t everyone on that show already doing well? That’s probably the only reason they’re even on there.”
