Chapter 64 - CHAPTER 64: NYNORX THE UNWRITTEN WRITER

System Notification~

Congratulations once again on your success.

The punishment for the losing side has now been decided.

All demi-humans on the opposing side will be allowed to live and dwell among you, while the reptiles will be left for the cleaners.

~End of System Notification~

Murmurs erupted among the people.

In the Realms of the Gods

A large hall came into view.

Hundreds of gods sat around a massive round table. In the center of the table was a hologram-like display, showing every being and creature under the control of the gods.

There were a total of one hundred gods surrounding the table.

Each god had their own domain and territories they ruled over. Among them was a constant struggle for power and position.

To determine their rankings, the gods had created a game.

Each god would choose a place and a creature of their desire, then help that creature grow into a powerful warrior. After a set amount of time, the warriors of each god would battle one another.

The god whose warriors proved to be the strongest would claim the number-one position.

"What did you do?! You cheated! This should be against the rules! Nynorx, I will bring a reign of terror upon your very existence!"

A serpent-like god seated across the table suddenly stood up in anger, shouting toward a similar-looking figure.

Reseter

Reseter had the appearance of a human, but reptilian scales covered her body.

"Reseter, what proof do you have to support your accusations?" another god, whose appearance was completely hidden within the shadows, asked the reptilian god.

Reseter sneered angrily.

However, she had no proof to support her accusations.

According to the rules, the accused had every right to defend themselves by challenging their accuser to a duel.

If the accused won the duel, the accuser would be charged with making false accusations and would be demoted from the top 100 to the lowest position.

However, if the accused lost, they would be cast down to the lowest position among more than a thousand gods.

Nynorx, the Unwritten Writer, had once been wrongly accused of cheating and was cast away and sealed by the combined power of the five strongest gods.

After being sealed away for thousands of years, he had finally broken free.

Now, he had decided to rise to glory once again.

His past had been forgotten, and even his powers could no longer be remembered by anyone—as though they had simply vanished from everyone's memories.

After his return, Nynorx had accomplished something almost impossible for any other god.

In just five days, he had climbed from the very last position to the 100th rank.

He had risen through the rankings by challenging other gods to duels, battling more than a thousand gods within those five days.

Yet every single god surrendered the moment the battle began.

How he had accomplished this remained a mystery to everyone.

Knowing this, Reseter decided to challenge Nynorx to a duel.

She accepted defeat, and after Nynorx defeated her, his rank increased once again.

Nynorx now stood at the 99th rank, while Reseter was demoted to the 100th rank.

"I don't mind another duel if you dare. You probably wouldn't even survive a single attack from me," Nynorx said, deliberately provoking Reseter.

"Your taunts mean nothing to me. But keep this in mind—I will make you pay," Reseter replied before walking away from the table and out of the hall.

A grin appeared on Nynorx's face.

The Realm of the Humans

Another city appeared beside the city where the humans and Hazel lived.

It looked strange and unusual, quite different from the human city.

This city served as the dwelling place of the demi-humans.

"Well, that went better than I thought," Hazel said, relieved that he didn't have to deal with the god.

If I had to fight that god, I would've lost in a matter of seconds, Hazel thought as he remembered the overwhelming aura and dominating presence he had felt when he met Nynorx.

After finally returning home, Hazel went to take a bath.

When he was finished, he went into his parlour, where the whole gang had gathered.

"Nice work, everyone," Hazel said, referring to the battle they had just won.

"So, how did it go?" Darwin asked Hazel about his meeting with the god. "What was he like?"

"Well, I can only say one thing. We are nowhere close to the power of that monster. If we're ever going to fight for our freedom and independence, we still have a long way to go," Hazel replied.

"Hmm... That strong, huh?" Ashborn asked.

"Yeah. We should be happy that he isn't our enemy. I can actually tell that he hasn't even released his full aura," Hazel said.
