Javier walked with a measured, dignified pace, his posture straight and his movements fluid. Gloria followed a half-step behind, her own steps silent and precise.
The Tybalt maids and staff bowed their heads respectfully as he passed, their expressions a mix of awe and relief.
Once they stepped outside, Javier smiled at the sight of his Pekko. Buddy was waiting patiently, his large head turning to watch their approach.
"Cuquawked!!" Buddy stood and glanced down at Javier.
"Alright, Buddy. Let's head home."
"Cuquawked?" Buddy tilted his head, then glanced down at Javier, who patted his neck and looked up at him.
"You want to do some sightseeing here first?"
"Cuquawked!" Buddy turned his head away with a dismissive snort, his expression clearly saying, No way! I'd rather be back at the estate eating grilled meat.
Javier chuckled as Buddy smugly strutted back toward the massive transport drone.
