Javier looked around the wedding celebration, observing the elegant setup, the glowing lanterns strung across the courtyard, and the clusters of nobles chatting cheerfully under the night sky.
Then suddenly.
"Gyarrrrhhh!! My eyes!!" he shouted, flinching.
"Ah!! Sorry young master!!" Liana gasped, feigning panic. "I didn't mean to!" she said quickly.
She leaned close and gently blew at his eye.
"There, there~ does it feel better?" she cooed sweetly.
Javier blinked rapidly, still holding his eye. "Liana! You totally did that on purpose!"
"Ehh~? No way~ How could I ever hurt my precious young master?" she said with a teasing lilt, cupping his cheek innocently. "Maybe your eye just wanted attention~"
"I'll show you attention—"
"Ah ah~ behave~" Liana whispered, tapping his nose lightly and returning to her composed, lovely smile as if nothing had happened.
Gloria, nearby with a cup of juice, didn't even look up. "He's lucky you only poked one eye this time."
