The grand hall was beautiful. Sparkling chandeliers hung from the ceiling, filling the room with a warm light. Noble guests chatted and laughed, creating a festive atmosphere. Lady Francesca, the star of the night, stood near the head table in her stunning gown, looking as lovely as ever.
But she didn't look happy. Her youngest son, Javier, was late.
When she finally saw him walk in, her eyes narrowed, and she turned her face away, pouting even more.
"Ah…" Javier scratched the back of his neck and grinned sheepishly.
"See, young master? You just made Madam sulk," Liana whispered beside him.
Javier laughed nervously.
