Official Proclamation of the Solemn Cult

Date: 17th of Archimedes / Beltane, 308 Great MigrationSubject: Reaffirmation of Nyasuk Sovereignty and Reinstatement of the Human Tribute

To the inhabitants of Alpheion, Alpha, Sigma, the Asteroid Belt,Naësu, our motherland, Omega, and Éfesis

With due regard:

All our nyasuk brethren are aware of the limitations and miseries of human existence. To cite only one example, the fact that they constantly make decisions based on their most primitive instincts separates us as species by an unfathomable abyss. Their reflexes are wanting, their self-indulgence borders on the pathological, and from this irrationality, by failing to calculate the outcomes of their actions, they not only turned Terra into an ecological disaster unprecedented in universal history, but replicated this same behavior on Sigma, the planet designed as their refuge. They would have repeated the same on Éfesis if not for the fact that this land is less fertile and hospitable.

The human race breaks our hearts time and again and acts against the Goddess, against Mother Nature. For this reason, the Solemn Cult has chosen to shoulder this responsibility: we nyasuk, as the superior race, more enlightened and better equipped, must guide them toward tasks more fitting for their optimal development. This is a sacred obligation to preserve the integrity of our ecosystems—or what remains after human intervention.

It is also our divine duty to care for the hybrids, the offspring of humans and nyasuk, popularly known as manouk, who live in vulnerable conditions, permeable to any external influence. The Cult stands ready to open its doors to any manouk seeking solidarity and care.

For these reasons, after an exhaustive review of the present conditions and in accordance with the foundational principles of our coexistence, the Solemn Cult, under the leadership of the exalted Shun-Ri Zhou, has resolved to reactivate a measure negligently neglected for the past twenty years, under the false impression of equality between our races, an impossible ideal in practice.

Her Excellency has determined that, by higher mandate, the human tribute shall be restored immediately.

The detractors of this just measure will no doubt cling to the unilaterally made decision of S. R. M. Siderion Aureus Blake, most excellent Lord of Atlantis, Disciple of the Ancients, when he was but thirteen years of age. To those nyasuk who align with this confused vision of equality, we ask them to first consider the youth of our prince when he revoked the human tribute. We ask them whether the boy of that time understood the scope of his actions, whether he knew he was breaking with a supreme tradition in which the colonies of Naësu offered the finest of their race to serve at court. This was not only a privilege, but a true possibility of social mobility, an economic boon, and in some cases even ensured the survival of the tributes. S. R. M. Siderion Aureus Blake, sadly, dismisses this source of pride for the humbler humans of the colonies, selling them an ideal he cannot fulfill in reality.

The Solemn Cult is committed to rectifying this mistake. We are certain that the colonies will gladly welcome this opportunity to once again prove their worth. We harbor great expectations of observing and studying the exceptional abilities that so rarely occur in the human race.

It is hereby declared that all tributes not collected since the ascension of our most excellent Lord of Atlantis, Disciple of the Ancients, supreme sovereign of Naësu, S. R. M. Cassian Blake, as heir to the throne, and those uncollected during the reign of his father, the Iron Sword, Ezra Blake, must be delivered into the custody of the nearest nyasuk authority within no more than three calendar months of the present year (308 GM). This includes:

Dante, Gutenberg, and Shakespeare for the human race.

Between Beltane and Lughnasadh for our nyasuk brethren.

Note: In this document, nyasuk refers to those of pure blood, descended from the original families of Atlantis and the Great Migration. Manouk blood is not considered within this context, nor is it the purpose of this document to address it. This subject, due to its breadth, will be reviewed in detail in a separate official document.

Applicable Measures:

Retroactivity: All human tributes, without exception, assigned as such by local colonial authority within the last twenty years from the present must appear before the corresponding authority of the Solemn Cult. No human-issued document can exempt them from fulfilling the duties required by the Solemn Cult.

Death: In case of death, responsibility falls upon the closest blood relative. If no such relative can be located, or if there are no direct heirs, the local colonial authority shall assume responsibility.

Chronic illness: Each case will be personally evaluated by a qualified member of the Solemn Cult. Human personal circumstances do not exempt one from duty, regardless of their nature.

We affirm with conviction that should the magnanimous deadlines granted by the exalted Shun-Ri Zhou not be met, we shall be sadly obliged to employ coercive methods and set aside dialogue, which has always been our first recourse. We have no doubt that some territories, sown with the ignorance and humility of human nature, will surely not understand words spoken in good faith—but they may respond to action. We take this resolution with great sorrow, yet with the knowledge that humans, whom we are divinely commanded to guard, sometimes cannot grasp what lies beyond their intelligence.

This act is an unshakable reminder of nyasuk supremacy and of the perpetual debt humanity owes us. Humanity has long enjoyed the protection and benefits granted by Naësu, and now is the time to honor those sacrifices. Beyond this, the Solemn Cult regards this as an act of infinite mercy toward the human race, saving it from its own inevitable destruction. Any attempt to resist, conceal, or evade this obligation will be considered an act of insurrection. As such, our Solemn Cult reserves the right to take whatever measures it deems necessary in each case.

Every nyasuk, manouk, and human who has come into contact with this proclamation shall henceforth be considered fully informed of it and bound to obey its contents.

We kindly remind you that order is not only natural, but also a divine law which we strive to uphold.

Solemn CultBy order of Her Excellency, Shun-Ri ZhouWith the consent of His Majesty, Ethan Idris Blake

Official Royal Nyasuk Decree

Date: 23rd of Archimedes / Beltane, 308 Great Migration

Subject: Reaffirmation of Sovereignty and Unity in the Face of the Cult

To the inhabitants of Alpheion, including Alpha, Sigma, the expanse of the Asteroid Belt,

Naësu, our motherland, Omega, and Éfesis:

A copy of the Cult's proclamation has come into our possession. In this document the Cult refers to itself as solemn, granting itself an illegitimate liberty, perhaps attempting to compare itself with the illustrious Council of Naësu.

This crown has remained silent these past days due to the management of supply shipments and rescue ships to the areas ravaged by the destruction wrought by the Cult. We find it astonishing that the Cult dares to claim adherence to a higher, even divine purpose, while they launch their projectiles against our subjects.

This faction promotes ideals that are unconstitutional, immoral, and abhorrent. Since the dawn of peace in 252 G.M., the Confederation of Planets has established that nyasuk, manouk, and humans are equal in rights. In their unheard-of insolence, showing contempt for interstellar treaties and mocking this crown, the Cult dares to say that the so-called inferior races must serve the nyasuk, basing itself solely on differences and characteristics conferred merely by genetics.

The Cult cites Terra and Sigma as failed cases of establishing a sustainable human population. Yet to these nyasuk, ardent detractors of racial equality, I remind them that our ancestors chose to rescue the human species without seeking any benefit, without thinking of humans as labor or servants. Our lineage consciously chose to guide humanity's new destiny and, time and again, to give them a chance. The outcome of these human settlements is irrelevant. Humans have the right to live, just as any other species, regardless of the mistakes they have made in the past.

We have been there since the dawn of human civilization, watching them struggle to achieve survival in societies always prone to inequality. We have seen their attempts to create something permanent, to achieve transcendence beyond death. All these traits make humanity something incomparable.

But what matters more to this crown is humanity's capacity to work together and the concept of aid. Humans sometimes know how to be supportive, even magnanimous. Sometimes, even, one's pain or suffering may be ended by another. This principle, so foreign to the Cult, is key to our collaboration as local and external organizations, both minor and major. That is why my appeal is to the community leaders present on the ground, where violence and discrimination truly occur, and where the Cult will no doubt spread its divisive propaganda. I dare to trust these leaders because they know their people, and I know that when facing hardships, unity is the only solution.

Therefore, this crown decrees the following for all colonies under the Confederation, in order to preserve peace and protect their citizens against the ideological and violent threat of the Cult:

Immediate community organization:Each settlement, colony, or station shall form a local security council composed of community leaders, medical authorities, teachers, or other trusted figures. Their aim will be to coordinate civil protection and safeguard the population's freedoms.

Emergency shelters:Safe spaces must be identified and prepared (tunnels, warehouses, underground structures, abandoned sectors, etc.) to serve as temporary shelters in the event of a Cult attack or incursion. Communities lacking infrastructure must prioritize shared resources and cooperation among nearby settlements.

Informational vigilance and organized reporting:All appearances of Cult propaganda must be recorded and reported to the Confederation through secure channels (civil communications network or, failing that, manual courier between colonies). It is recommended not to destroy the material, but to deliver it to the Confederation for study and archiving.

Nonviolent resistance:The population must not engage the Cult militarily without the direct backing of the forces of Naësu or the Confederation. Instead, they are instructed to resist through dissemination of information and moral dissuasion, avoiding indoctrination and protecting minors and manouk at risk.

These measures are intended to safeguard the right of every inhabitant of Alpheion to live under the best conditions we can offer. Without wishing to be repetitive, I must stress that under current law it is impossible for the Cult's proclamation to revoke any measure taken by the crown of Naësu. We ask the colonies not to fall for the confused officialist-sounding verbiage spread by this organization, and we remind you that the practice of human tribute has been illegal throughout Alpheion since 294 G.M. Let there be no doubt about this crown's intent. From now on, it is declared that the Cult's propaganda, its proclamations, and the defense of its ideas are contrary to the will of the throne, unconstitutional, retrograde, and harmful to interplanetary understanding. As such, Naësu will deploy its forces throughout the entire Confederation territory—Omega, Naësu, Asteroid Belt, Sigma, Alpha, and certain sectors of Éfesis—to ensure that the fundamental rights of all species are respected regardless of origin.

I am firmly convinced that we can replicate the ideal achieved in 252 G.M., and that collaboration among ahnsuk, manouk, nyasuk, and humans is not impossible but indispensable for our continuity. This system was founded to give all species a place to live, and the existence of a minority that works against this purpose will not change that. By uniting, we defend not only this system, but peace itself and the concept that the strength of living beings lies in their collaboration—a concept with which I reaffirm my unwavering commitment from this moment on and forever.

May Naësu be covered by the gentle lunar mantle until dawn.
