Chapter 214 - Tang Hao

The field was quiet again, all eyes on Tang San and Xiao Wu.

The battle was brutal.

Zhao Wuji had not held back—his Vigorous Vajra Bear form unleashed wave after wave of bone-crushing attacks. Gravity Crush, Bear Rampage, and Gravity Pulse turned the entire training field into a battlefield of cracked stone and overturned ground.

But Tang San didn't falter.

Using Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track, Blue Silver Grass, and his Hidden Weapon techniques, he fought smart. With every dodge, he left behind a trap—threading his spirit grass in webs, launching needles, and placing caltrops laced with hidden force.

He used Oscar's sausages mid-fight to keep himself standing.

And when the moment came, Tang San surged forward—unleashing everything he had.

Dozens of hidden weapons launched in perfect sync: Bone Piercers, Sleeve Darts, Thousand Spider Needles—

Zhao Wuji let out a pained grunt.

His Vajra Bear form, once ferocious and golden, now looked like a pincushion. His massive frame had so many small, embedded weapons it looked less like a bear and more like a giant iron porcupine.

Even the students watching winced.

Finally, Zhao Wuji raised one trembling hand in surrender. "…Alright. Alright—you pass."

Tang San dropped to one knee, panting. Xiao Wu hurried to his side.

That night, all of them were given a room at Shrek Academy to rest.

Last Night – Shrek Academy, After Midnight

The academy grounds were quiet—everyone resting after the exhausting entrance trials.

Everyone… except one man.

Tang Hao stepped silently through the darkness like a ghost, his tattered cloak fluttering faintly behind him. His steps were heavy, filled with fury held on a tight leash.

He found Zhao Wuji near the back courtyard—still grumbling and treating his bruises in a small cabin. He didn't even have time to react.

CRACK!

A fist buried into his gut. Before he could scream, a second blow slammed into his jaw, and his body flew across the room, knocking through the table and breaking the wall.

Zhao Wuji groaned on the floor, blood dripping from his nose.

"You dared lay a hand on my son," Tang Hao said coldly, towering over him.

Then came another punch.

By the end, Zhao Wuji looked half-dead. Black and blue, barely breathing.

Flender, who had been nearby and rushed in to stop it, froze at the sight of Tang Hao—he recognized the man immediately and dared not intervene.

But Tang Hao wasn't finished.

He turned and walked toward the student dorms, following the faint, golden aura he had sensed earlier.

Qian Renxue.

She was sitting cross-legged in the courtyard, her body glowing faintly with spirit energy as she meditated under the moonlight. She opened her eyes calmly when he approached.

Tang Hao's voice was cold, almost growling. "You. You're the one who interfered in my son's fight."

Renxue stood slowly, expression unreadable. "I didn't interfere. I punished disrespect."

But just as Tang Hao's spirit pressure surged—

BOOM.

A violent wave of power cracked the night air.

Ten shadows appeared silently around him, stepping from rooftops, trees, and behind walls.

Ten Titled Douluo.

Each one released their aura like crashing tsunamis. The very stones of the courtyard trembled.

Tang Hao's eyes widened slightly. Even he took a cautious step back.

"Who are you all?" he asked coldly, his martial spirit erupting behind him, glowing with raw power. Though no spirit rings had yet appeared, his killing intent was thick in the air. He was ready to fight to the death if necessary.

One of the cloaked figures stepped forward.

"We're not here to kill you," the figure said calmly. "But if we wanted to… even one of us would be enough."

The aura around him surged for a moment—crushing and suffocating. Tang Hao's expression stiffened.

"Do what you want," the Titled Douluo added, "but if you ever come near those three again—" his hand gestured toward Qian Renxue, Mo Luochen, and Felicia—"then not even your so-called Clear Sky Clan will be spared. We'll erase every last root."

Felicia looked curiously and said " This was the guy who was emitting killing intent just now?" Her voice appeared mocking as she looked at him.

Beside her, Qian Renxue stood like a statue of golden light, while Mo Luochen remained calm and unmoving—his presence quiet, yet at the center of it all.

Tang Hao opened his mouth to speak—but before he could react, one of the ten figures flashed forward.

There was a sharp rip, a gust of wind, and then—

THUD.

Tang Hao dropped to one knee.

He looked to his right in confusion.

His right arm was gone—torn clean off.

"This is a light punishment," the figure said coldly, standing over him, "for daring to aim at our Young Lady."

The ten Titled Douluo stood still once more, surrounding Mo Luochen and others like an impenetrable fortress.

After a long silence, Mo Luochen finally spoke.

"Leave."

The ten Titled Douluo vanished like ghosts, their auras disappearing into the night as if they had never been there at all.

Mo Luochen sighed, then turned to the two girls beside him. With a relaxed, almost lazy smile, he wrapped his arms around their waists.

"Let's go sleep. That guy won't dare to even look at us now."

Felicia rolled her eyes, but didn't resist. Renxue gave Tang Hao one last look—cold, sharp—before following Luochen into the dorm.

Tang Hao remained there, kneeling in the courtyard, blood dripping onto the stone beneath him, his breath trembling—not from pain, but from something far worse.

Fear.

He hadn't even seen the strike.

He hadn't sensed the movement.

And he hadn't dared move even after.

Not far off, Flender finally emerged from the shadows. He approached the kneeling Tang Hao, who was still bleeding from where his right arm had been severed.

"Tang Hao… are you alright?" Flender asked quietly, his voice unsteady.

"I've sent Zhao Wuji to Spirit Hall for healing," he added, trying to offer something helpful. "But you… that arm…"

It was surreal. This was Tang Hao, once known as the strongest Clear Sky Douluo—yet he'd just been treated like a mere child punished by elders.
