Chapter 402 - Chapter 401: Who Wouldn't Like Such a Huo Yun'er?

"Damn it. Where did she go?" Huo Yuhao turned his head towards the kitchen, a suspicion immediately forming in his mind.

Could it be that Qian Ran asked her to...?

Damn it!

The kitchen and the living room were separated by a special glass partition, allowing only Qian Ran's upper body to be visible. Naturally, Huo Yun'er, who had squatted down, was now out of Huo Yuhao's sight.

"Hu..." Qian Ran noticed Huo Yuhao looking in his direction and turned to give him a knowing smile. Huo Yuhao is probably still a virgin, isn't he? He doesn't yet know the wonders of such experiences.

Huo Yun'er truly was a remarkable woman.

It felt amazing.

A woman like Huo Yun'er was undoubtedly irresistible to nearly every type of man. Who could refuse someone who looks up at you with longing eyes like a devoted little puppy?

"It's done. You go take a shower now." After finishing, Qian Ran patted Huo Yun'er's cheek.

Huo Yun'er stood up and walked straight to the bathroom.

Half an hour later, she emerged wearing a white, sheer gauze dress. Her petite yet curvaceous figure was perfectly showcased. Her dainty feet tapped lightly on the marble floor, every movement exuding elegance and allure.

Under the thin fabric, her skin was faintly visible, hidden behind a veil of enticing mystery. Huo Yun'er's figure was already outstanding, but with her deliberate attire, she was now utterly captivating.

Men, in general, don't particularly like women who are overtly provocative—they often regard such women as mere flings. After all, if she can please you, she can do the same for others. But faced with someone who reserves her allure just for you, who could resist?

No one, certainly not Qian Ran.

Huo Yuhao trudged toward the dining table, every step feeling like a Herculean effort. At this moment, every second felt as long as a year. He couldn't help but feel like the outsider in his own home.

This house—located in the prime real estate near Shrek Academy—was bought by him. It was outrageously expensive in the city of Shrek. Yet, he felt no sense of ownership or belonging here.

Instead, Huo Yuhao felt like he was intruding on a home where the true masters were someone else.

Suppressing his anger, Huo Yuhao silently took a seat at the table.

He knew that anything he said at this point would fall on deaf ears with Huo Yun'er. If he confronted Qian Ran head-on, it would yield nothing except making himself look immature and lacking self-control. In the end, whatever he said, Huo Yun'er wouldn't believe him.

At the rectangular dining table, Huo Yuhao sat opposite Huo Yun'er, while Qian Ran sat beside her. Huo Yuhao burned with jealousy. What is this supposed to mean? Does Qian Ran have a higher status in this house than I do?

Frustrated and anxious, Huo Yuhao couldn't even muster an appetite for the delicious-looking food on the table. Even though it was a meal lovingly prepared by Huo Yun'er, it now tasted like ash in his mouth. He could only steal glances at Qian Ran and Huo Yun'er from the corner of his eye.

Huo Yuhao noticed that Huo Yun'er's previously cold demeanor seemed to have undergone a complete transformation when she was beside Qian Ran. Her attitude toward him was deferential, even carrying a hint of shy eagerness to please. Occasionally, Huo Yuhao sensed that something peculiar was happening under the table. Huo Yun'er's head dipped slightly, her cheeks flushing crimson as she gripped her chopsticks tightly.

Though she was maintaining a facade of normalcy, each bite she took was small, and her actions were rigid, clearly distracted.

Huo Yuhao couldn't hold it in anymore and abruptly stood up.

He wanted to flip the table.

What kind of meal is this?!

"Huo Yuhao, what are you doing?" Huo Yun'er's expression returned to its usual coldness, and she glared at Huo Yuhao.

"I... Uncle Qian didn't bully you, did he?" Huo Yuhao deflated instantly.

"What nonsense are you spouting? Is your Uncle Qian that kind of person? What's gotten into you today? Your Uncle Qian rarely visits, and this is how you treat him?" Huo Yun'er's stern tone forced Huo Yuhao to swallow his humiliation.

He didn't want his conflict with Qian Ran to ruin his relationship with Huo Yun'er.

In his mind, Qian Ran must have used sweet words to win her over, manipulating her trust. Meanwhile, Huo Yuhao felt that he had been painted as the bad guy by Zhou Yi and Xian Lin'er.

His only choice was to lie low and gather evidence to expose Qian Ran's true nature.

But every time he saw Qian Ran's smug grin, Huo Yuhao struggled to control his emotions. He wanted to grab his bowl and eat in his room, away from this spectacle. Yet, leaving would mean giving Qian Ran free rein to do whatever he pleased.

"Mm..." After a while, Huo Yun'er's body started trembling slightly, and she let out an involuntary hum. Huo Yuhao instinctively glanced in her direction.

"Eat your food and stop looking around!" To his surprise, Huo Yun'er, who had been meekly submissive to Qian Ran, suddenly turned cold and glared at Huo Yuhao.

As Huo Yun'er scolded Huo Yuhao, Qian Ran smirked mockingly.

"Yun'er, have some meat," Qian Ran said with a grin. He used his chopsticks to pick up a piece of meat, but instead of placing it in Huo Yun'er's bowl, he held it up to her lips, feeding her like a pet.

Huo Yun'er froze momentarily before opening her mouth, delightedly accepting the food.

Qian Ran seemed to revel in this act of feeding. He kept offering her bites, relishing the sight of her lips parting slightly, her elegant demeanor resembling that of a pampered pet.

But as the meal progressed, Qian Ran began raising the food higher, forcing Huo Yun'er to tilt her head back and rise slightly from her seat to reach it.

Her misty, seductive gaze left Qian Ran utterly captivated.

Huo Yun'er, you're simply too good at this.

No wonder she was the handpicked head maid of his estate. Qian Ran was already fantasizing about Huo Yun'er training the other maids to be just as obedient and alluring. With such a team, his days ahead would be filled with endless entertainment. Who wouldn't want to live in a mansion with dozens of "pets"? A maid squad that was regal goddesses outside but submissive and adoring at home—it was paradise.

Huo Yun'er was visibly exhausted. Her once-clear eyes were now veiled with a watery haze, her every move radiating an enticing allure.

"Finish your meal and go rest in your room," Huo Yun'er said, attempting to maintain composure as she ordered Huo Yuhao.

Huo Yuhao couldn't endure it any longer. Even though he worried about what Qian Ran might do in his absence, his patience had reached its limit.

"Qian Ran, you'd better..." As he passed Qian Ran, Huo Yuhao shot him a venomous glare before storming off. Why? Why does my own mother treat me so coldly now? Is her own son worth less to her than Qian Ran?
