The Shattered Star Greatsword shattered the flame-enveloped roots entirely, with flames flying wildly under the fierce attack, the sparks in the air moving towards extinction.
It was only then that Temude noticed that the mass of fire wasn't merely flames; at its center was a pitch-black mass, indistinct and appearing as either a twisted creature or a charred corpse.
Although it was unclear what this black mass was, the question seemed to become unimportant, as it had already been turned to ashes under the Shattered Star Greatsword.
The crushed entity neither exploded nor recovered, and the flames that were fiercely erupting moments ago vanished in the blink of an eye.
Did I just achieve location destruction? If so, doesn't this mean the Chaos Breeding Ground can't use this area to spew fire anymore?
Though the fireballs that erupted from this part weren't particularly threatening to begin with, destroying one should still aid in battle.
