This little episode left everyone mentally exhausted, quickly checking on Asam's condition and calling over the priest among the newcomers for healing.
The two of them now seemed as if they were on a high, appearing both pained and oddly euphoric. The priest's magic, meant to soothe their minds, didn't seem to have much effect on them.
Luluwo watched them worriedly while inspecting her chain, which was evidently burnt beyond use.
"What's going on? Why did that monster suddenly get stronger?"
She glanced back at the empty Sick Village. Although the monsters inside had been completely cleared out, there was now a bizarre sense of lurking danger.
"After all, this is still Sain Dungeon. We can't lower our guard just because the sun is bright."
Luluwo glanced at Ais and Em, whose mental states had yet to stabilize, and suddenly realized that what they said earlier about staring at Mad Fire Patients being comfortable might... have been false.
