Couple this with the grotesque monsters scattered throughout Galide; most of these monsters are infected by the crimson corruption, and every move they use against adventurers brings an accumulation of crimson corruption. Unfortunately, adventurers with weak constitutions get infected with corruption within moments.
This has led to unprecedented fear among adventurers in Galide when faced with monster group actions. If they get grazed a few more times in battle and get infected with corruption, and don't have the corrosive moss medicine to treat the crimson corruption, what awaits them is a chronic, or rather, a swift death.
