East City's garbage dump, the battle between two Transcendents was drawing to a close.
The muddy ground was soaked with fresh blood of red, green, or yellow; various kinds of bioengineered creatures' limbs and broken remains covered the trash mounds, resembling hell itself.
Amongst the bioengineered creatures, there were not a few elite soldiers such as demon alchemists, bone demons, and berserk demons.
They wielded heavy battle axes and giant hammers, carried anti-tank rocket launchers on their shoulders, and wore thick metal armor enchanted with black magic.
This armor was immune to rifle bullets and could even reflect, deflect, and weaken tank shells.
Such a demon army, even placed on a modern battlefield, could change the outcome of a local battle.
But here, their end was uniform – death.
