To avoid mosquito bites and cuts from some serrated plants, they were wearing fairly dense clothing, hats, face coverings, and high-top shoes, all wrapped up tightly. But this resulted in them almost getting heatstroke from the heat.
"Alright, let's rest for a bit in the grove up ahead before we continue. Everyone should check each other for any bugs or plant seeds stuck to them. Be careful of the ground when you sit down, so you don't get ambushed by any little critters."
It was around four in the afternoon, and although the sun was no longer directly overhead, it was still the hottest part of the day. To prevent heatstroke, they had to pay attention to cooling down.
Fortunately, everyone had rich outdoor experience, and so far, no one showed signs of heat exhaustion.
Walking in the rainforest on a hot day is something most people can't handle. During rest time, several students leaned against each other to take a short nap.
