"Is this a Red Fox? Why are there so many of them?"
In one photo, you can see four, along with a large tail poking out of the corner. Did the whole clan come out for a picnic?
Red Foxes have a wide distribution in Europe, from city outskirts to mountainous areas. These little guys have amazing adaptability and are quite agile, which makes many farms detest them greatly. After all, these seemingly cute little things recently caused a rabies outbreak, although it's been contained, their reputation has taken a hit.
Fortunately, after drinking the water, the foxes just scampered away without going on a rampage among other animals.
Soon after, two adult wild boars with three piglets slowly passed by the ditch.
This is a fairly stable wild boar family. The boar is quite large and seems to have a decent fighting prowess, with scars from past battles on its skin. The sow would occasionally pause to check on the playful piglets, urging them to catch up.
