Ulysses' words left Richard with a peculiar irritation, as if an unseen mist was obscuring his vision, preventing him from understanding many things.
"Uh..." Ulysses returned to his senses, looking at Richard with a complex expression, "You'll know once you unseal your memory."
"My memory..."
Richard was taken aback, about to say that his memory sealing couldn't be undone, but as he began to speak, he realized something was amiss.
How did Ulysses know about his sealed memory when he hadn't mentioned it?
"How do you know I sealed my memory... oh, I get it."
Richard suddenly understood, realizing in an instant how it happened.
He had tricked himself.
"Why does it have to be so complicated?"
Muttering to himself, Richard unsealed his memory, and upon reconnecting with it, a strange smile appeared on his face.
