The most terrifying part was that some people, after being killed, would drag their mangled bodies up again.
They hobbled upstairs—these people seemed to become Corpse Ghost-like beings after death. They were not particularly fast or strong, but it was enough to make the situation deteriorate further. The only relief was that they seemed uninterested in the living.
People upstairs were crying for help while they ran and shoved each other, unable to escape swiftly. Continuously, people died under the monsters' blades, and continuously, more got up after death and stumbled towards the stairs.
Some bold boys jumped out of the windows directly, many of whom had already fallen to their deaths, while the luckier ones hobbled to safety.
Those who dared not jump could only rush into the stairways in an attempt to escape.
The doors to the stairways... someone damn had locked the doors, now inside was packed with people like sardines.
