There were also a ton of pessimistic theories: some said it was the second calamity coming and humanity was about to be wiped out, others speculated that there was infighting within the Female Void Palace, and some said that the palace conducted strange experiments that went wrong and resulted in too many casualties, forcing them to close the mountain.
The responses were extensive.
