Under the entrance stairs,
A damp rag is laid to the side,
with Gust sitting there, a meal tray in front of him.
Any guest entering the inn must pass by him, and once someone arrives, Gust adopts a pitiful look.
Behaving this way, he's likely to receive a tongue.
After all, the monsters that can stay at the inn are all Green Gate certified, highly regenerative beings, so a tongue is nothing to them.
Gust himself thoroughly enjoys this feeling of "effortless gain," and besides attending classes, his favorite thing to do in Vortex Town is to idle away time at the inn.
Furthermore, there's another reason...
Perhaps due to the quieting of outer realm threats, it's been somewhat dull recently, and the "landlord" who rarely interacts with people and speaks little has now appeared in a different form.
