On the third day of the little one's birthday, Lu Liang's parents asked Lu Ya to book an afternoon high-speed train ticket back to their hometown.
Although flying would only take an hour, both elders felt uneasy about it, finding the high-speed train much more comfortable in comparison.
"Stay a few more days, after all, there's nothing much to do at home. Just have Lu Ya take you around," Lu Liang said.
In recent years, he had been very busy, barely having any chance to meet the little one, and even less with his parents.
Thinking about it carefully, it was not as good as before. In the past, although he was working, he could at least meet with them three or five times a year.
Looking at it now, most of the year had passed, and the last time Lu Liang met his parents was during the Spring Festival.
If not for the little one's birthday and his parents coming over, they probably wouldn't have met until the end of the year.
