Leaving the hospital, Aoyama Xiu Xin made a trip home.
Asai Ayumi had already stopped working to rest at home because her due date was approaching. Aoyama Xiu Xin wanted to surprise her, so he didn't knock and let himself in.
However, he couldn't see anyone in the living room. He was puzzled when he suddenly heard rustling sounds coming from the kitchen. Upon walking over, he saw Asai Ayumi, with her hair tied up and wearing maternity clothes, standing in front of the refrigerator with her belly, snacking.
Upon hearing the sound, Asai Ayumi instinctively turned her head to look at the doorway. When she saw Aoyama Xiu Xin, her body froze in place. She quickly stuffed the snack back into the refrigerator and shut the door, saying nonchalantly, "I was checking to see if it had expired. By the way, why are you back?"
