With full internal fuel, its maximum combat radius is 1800 kilometers, and with one aerial refueling, it can reach 3000 kilometers. With five auxiliary fuel tanks, its ferry range can reach 7500 kilometers.
In comparison, other performances of the "War-16A" are not particularly outstanding. Its maximum flight speed is only 1.6 Mach, with a maximum service ceiling of 18000 meters and usable overload of +5G to -2G. The maximum speed at sea level is 1100 kilometers per hour, with a maximum climb rate of 240 meters per second.
