Inner Island He Weigu Navy Air Force Base.
This island lies among the Howay Islands, roughly 1000 kilometers east to Honu Island, and about 1000 kilometers west to Transfer Island. As for this Navy Air Force base, it is named after the hero pilot of the Second Global War, who later became the Navy Air Force Commander-in-chief, Admiral He Weigu. It is one of the main Air Force bases of the Empire's Navy on the Howay Islands.
Unlike those Air Force bases in the east, He Weigu Base primarily serves patrol aircraft.
In peacetime, a squadron of anti-submarine patrol aircraft is stationed at the base, with more than 60 aircraft, two-thirds of which are in deployment status.
However, the base can certainly accommodate more than just dozens of anti-submarine patrol aircraft.
Before Newland Republic entered the war, the Empire's Navy enhanced He Weigu Base's deployment capabilities by transporting a large amount of logistical support equipment to the base.
