After Tie Niu settled Cui Ru, he and the dozen other men strode imposingly out of the elevator and into the first-floor lobby.
The nervous lobby manager broke out in a cold sweat upon seeing the group. He hurried over to Qin Fan, plastering a sycophantic smile on his face. "Officer, what on earth has happened?"
Qin Fan glanced at him indifferently. "Pull up last night's surveillance footage." He then walked toward the front desk.
Though unaware of their intentions, the lobby manager quickly relayed the order, shouting to the front-desk clerk, "Quick, quick! Pull up last night's surveillance footage!"
He had been dubious about the group's identity, but any doubts evaporated the moment he stepped outside and saw the military vehicles.
Qin Fan went around to the computer at the front desk. Staring at the lobby footage, he commanded, "Fast-forward at the highest speed."
"The fastest?" the clerk repeated, taken aback.
"Yes," Qin Fan affirmed.
