BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! The explosion sounded like gunpowder going off. The man with explosive prosthetics bombarded fiercely in the ring, his opponent being a cybernetically modified birdman with bio-wings, slashing wound after wound with sharp talons. Poisonous feathers of a ghastly green hue floated above the crowd, and Gongsun Ce carefully avoided them, seeing an unfortunate soul not far away whose skin had been poisoned by the feathers.
"Follow me!" Ed shouted, "Don't lose your way!"
This was the lowest level of the casino, the audience platform with its mixed bag of fish and dragons within spitting distance. Dizzying lights spun like mad, and the frenzied crowd splashed around alcohol and drugs. Ed led Gongsun Ce and Qin Qianbai through the crowd, with Gongsun Ce having to cover his nose to avoid being overwhelmed by the smell of sweat.
